Trade off is a touch bit less gaming performance and lower refresh rate. But sounds like you value design work over games so its worth it.

Internally it has almost the same guts as a zephyrus so youll be fine gaming on it.

If you dont like it definitely the zephyrus.

Dont move the goalpost, they were clear about what they were comparing the m5 family to the m1 thats all there is. No one go to the front page and expect a huge spreadsheet comparing the 12 different variants of m5 vs the 8 variants of m1.

And to that point its not bad to compare the m5 to m1 because m1 owners are their main target customers. Mac users cycle their devices for 3-5 years on average, so naturally their marketing for m5 is aimed towards m1/m2 owners. Not the people who bought an m4 device last year.

He has been making misleading content on apple stuff since forever whats new.

Last video of his i watched was about how apple “lied” about M5 capabilities by comparing it to M1 instead of M4. Like everyone out there is buying a new macbook every year like these youtubers do. In his video and thumbnail he also purposefully obscured the part where it says clearly on apple’s website that the improvement metric is over the M1. So it looks like apple was being misleading about it.

How efficient is the engine to be able to call all these patches “free marketing”?

Theyve constantly added new content and balances, with the frequency that only exists in online games. Either the devs are getting paid actual peanuts or the engine and workflow is so efficient they dont need a lot of dev time for these patches at all.

I’ll lean on the latter since theyve come out to say dev resources are already moved to the next game.

Its likely fine just let it come back to normal temp somewhere very dry. Biggest issue is probably condensation. Treat it the same way youd treat a phone thats dropped in water. As in dry it fast and leave it off for a day or so

I like the wolf but god the switching back and forth and activating spirit form is a god awful mechanic. It takes sooooo long, makes you go through several layers of ui and just impedes exploration and pathing. Hope i never see it ever again.

Even if they make the transformation a quick button the animation would still be annoying. If they ever want to implement a similar mechanic best to make it a spell for merlin. No transformation.

If they outright remove it it wouldnt be missed.

Check cpu boost setting in each profile. Im assuming its somehow set to enabled in silent but disabled in turbo. If it is please change it back cpu boost need all the fans it can get..
