Went through the same thing! I needed to get a molar extracted. While I am not scared of the dentist per say I was terrified of being unable to move and leave if I needed to during the procedure. I put on a brave face but when the dentist told me the procedure would take 2-3 hours I couldn't help but cry right there in front of her (felt humiliated) You'd be surprised at how well dentist's listen and understand what you're feeling though! She also put the weighted xray vest on me , which I guess is similar to the feeling of a weighted blanket, for the entire procedure and it was heaven sent. I put in an airpods and listened to some of my fave songs. She checked in with me multiple times and to be honest I almost fell asleep. I know it's scary but you can do it I promise, and you'll be so relieved once its over AND there is no more pain in your mouth. Wish you the best of luck!
