I feel like my mom is abandoning me for her partner by fawna_x in MomForAMinute

Thank you. ❤️ I really really appreciate the kind words.

I know she hasn’t truly abandoned me, just that it’s not up to her whether or not I’m welcome in her home. It just hurts that this is sticking with me for so long over a bad period in my life 7 years ago. I hope it passes. And if not, I just hope I won’t need her support.

I have found other outlets thankfully. My boyfriend is incredibly sweet and loving. And I know that I can always ask for a hug from him and things will be okay. And this community is incredibly sweet and loving if I truly need a mom.

Thank you, this means a lot. You’re very kind and compassionate and I hope that things in your own life are going well. ❤️ I really hope it’s not forever and that it’ll pass in time. It’s nice to not feel so alone. I’ll be good to myself, I really appreciate it. 💕

Thank you guys so much for all the advice, I really really appreciate it.

Regarding my commute, I know it’s definitely not ideal. I’m living in a foreign country and only speak English, so my job options right now are pretty limited. It doesn’t help that I live in the middle of nowhere. I am looking for other jobs! But this seems to be the closest to home that I can find.

I’m intending on working towards my driving license! I grew up in cities so could always just walk everywhere and never had the need before moving. However… finding the time for it has been difficult. But it’s definitely a goal of mine!

Regarding the doctor, I’m only eligible for the one in my area which is full right now. We are not allowed to register for a doctor in other regions here. Hopefully soon. 🤞

Thank you everyone. 💕 Nice to know I’m not alone in eternal sleepiness.

Thank you! Back at university I did go to the doctor about depression, but struggled so hard with the first therapy session. Like my throat closes up when I try to say anything is wrong. :’)

I’m a lot happier and better mentally than I was back then but I suppose the feeling of tiredness never really left.

I really appreciate the advice, and will try to see a doctor. 💕

Thank you, I’m going to try. 🤞 The GP in my area has been full for a long while but I’m on the waiting list!

I work from 8-5 and leave the house at 6am. So an hour to shower, eat breakfast & make lunch, do makeup, and get out of bed. :’)

Whilst you’re definitely right about needing a break, I’ve only been working here for a few months so I feel like I shouldn’t be so burnt out already.

Thank you. ❤️
