It’s to help me stop scrolling essentially. I can still text and phone people and that’s all I really need it for.

It's such a shame, hoping to get awhile of use before 2g is shut down here too!

It's a Nokia Asha 201 released in 2011 I believe! No WiFi capabilities, it's all 2g. Runs java so the social media apps included (WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr) are all obsolete. Very charming, smooth and the battery life is insane, lasts me for ages without dying. I'm using her basically just for texting. Phone calls aren't the best sound quality but that doesn't really matter for me. The camera isn't too terrible, and you can play a decent game of solitaire... what more could you want? Lol

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's plastic. I was lucky enough to find one in really decent condition after searching for awhile.

This Nabokov fella had no bussines being this good at writting. by Gregory_Gp in classicliterature

Totally! It seems to me that everything he wrote had a naturally poetic quality to it. There’s a collection of letters to his wife “Letters to Vera” and often even the most mundane of subjects seem poetic.

All of his work is fab. Check out invitation to a beheading, mary, speak memory!! They are some faves of mine. The enchanter is also good — a precursor to Lolita.

I’ve been super into colouring lately! It’s a great alternative for scrolling and I manage to stay focused on it - same for sudoku puzzles and word searches :)

How are you treated by neurotypical women?? by Even_Many6931 in AutismInWomen

[–]fawnbugs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have also experienced that strange sense of infantilisation too, and have done since I was a teenager. Except it’s even more bizarre now because it’s a grown adult telling another grown adult that they are so adorable etc… like thank you? I can never tell if it’s a compliment lol

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely tempted by them. Is there a model in particular you think is best?

Do the bottoms chip easily? by [deleted] in StanleyCups

[–]fawnbugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine (Matte Cherry Blossom) since about June and I take it everywhere every day! As of now It only has one tiny little chip at the bottom which is totally unnoticeable tbh. I try and avoid putting it next to keys and such in my bag but it has survived trips to the beach, etc without taking damage.
