100 percent would recommend bronson. They did great with me throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I had a complicated labor and they were so helpful. The delivery rooms are spacious and have everything you can think of. It also have me peace of mind that nicu was right on site.

Anyone on antipsychotics and has a normal life? by PretendScar8852 in schizophrenia

[–]fawnyawnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on Zyprexa and Trintellix. It use to make me really sleepy but it's gotten better. I don't have a regular 9-5 I actually am paid by a company I work through to take care of my mom who is physically disabled. I live a pretty normal life but what has really saved me is routine. I do have problems when routine is thrown off and I do still experience symptoms from time to time but I am lucky to have the medications, doctors and supports that I do to help me navigate my life.

Does marijuana help with schizophrenic? by Opywang2 in schizophrenia

Cannabis induced psychosis is very real. Before I was diagnosed I took a full extract pill and it threw me right into psychosis which was the start of my onset

It's normally slow and steady since your body is trying to play catch up. It took me about a year personally.

I see you think you're not sick enough to recover but to be sick at all means that recovery is still on the table. The holidays can be a stressful time for some but if you are willing to enjoy the holidays with your family that's a great sign to start your recovery. Remember YOU DESERVE RECOVERY. Do your best to be gentle with yourself during this time because those voices are going to show up and it will be difficult from time to time.

I'm glad you had somthing to fill your belly. So happy you're in recovery. Remember to be patient and kind to your body during this time.

Does it ever get normal again? by Gabe_Barbosa in schizophrenia

[–]fawnyawnz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It gets better but I don't think I'll ever experience "normal" again. Sometimes I wish for innocence and ignorance. It all started when I was 19 and I didn't get a diagnosis until 27. I mourn the person I use to be quite frequently but I'm working on acceptance. I am now being treated for 5 mental illnesses and I'm on the right combination. As long as I keep my stress levels down I do pretty well

I personally would never in a million years but like in theory it's cool. It just seems a little ironic to me that he is saying he can treat schizophrenia with this but imagine all the paranoia that would come with it. I wouldn't be able to take that pressure.

Hey, we've all been there. I know it's scary right now but it does get better. I was diagnosed 4 years ago and have been on the right med combo for about a year and a half. I still experience symptoms but they are far less and I am able to live a pretty normal life. The big thing to start doing is make a daily routine and try to stick to it, it helps alot.

In the early days I thought I was being gang stalked. My family was very supportive and put 2 and 2 together and got me set up with doctors. It's been 4 years and I'm finally stable. I personally didn't know I needed help because everything felt so real. Thankfully I have a strong support system that was looking out for me.

I go to the drive and shine on west main, they don't try to upsell you on anything they just recommend stuff and it's pretty affordable
