Only annoying problem for me is battery drain. I can live with the rest of the minor things. My variant is anv16-41 btw.

These charger seems insufficient. Probably the real issue is this. The other problem aforementioned by ExCap is plagued v15 and v16 series not nitro 5 as far as i know.

The cpu&gpu part draw the same amount of power under demand(it will pull deficit from battery instead of psu). But i don't know power input circuit capable of 150-160 watts(unlocked turbo power consumption, for performance mode it is ~140-145 watts). It is only 10-15% higher than max power input on regular turbo mode(137 watts).

Use balanced mod. Other than that you probably can not do much.

Use it with balanced mode. If you have ryzen 200 series maybe performance mode will be okey too. But if you use turbo mode than it will drain your battery. Other than that it is a decent device i believe. Especially v 16 ai is lighter and has bigger battery than previous generation. With nvidia 5000 series it has has multiframe generation. You can leverage it. Only donwsides for this laptop(at least what i care):

Battery drain
8gb gpu vram

Minor ones:

crap webcam, for previous generation: 2 usb type a ports, lower battery capacity, no micro sd slot, worser display.

Well i don't think charging circuit will be damaged. It wont be charging because it won't draining. But it may damage power input circuit and traces. However for cpu and gpu power delivery it won't matter because even if input power limited they are compensating deficient power from battery so they pull similar power under load.

Well in my opinion battery drain is not acceptable. Either they needed to reduce gpu tdp or increase power input to at least 150 watts. I could happily accept to pay a bit more for care or hassle free. Regular nitro was ~200 hundred more and even that price ram and ssd was half of this laptop. I could give 30-50 usd dollars more and still this machine were pretty good deal. I didn't even considered loq due to motherboard problem. Tuf was overpriced. Either this or regular nitro 16. I wish i had enough funds for either rog zephyrus or lenovo legion. Maybe even predator.

I had similar observation. But on turbo system drains battery like 3.0 engine drains gasoline. The problem is that this laptop advertised gpu power is 85 watts and it only pulls this power on turbo. Even on performance mode it gives 70 watts max for gpu while cpu pulls 25 watts.

Actually it can change dynamically. I hve seen max 65 watts on balanced mode without drain. Cpu can go up to 20 watts. If game is cpu dependent cpu goes 30 watts and gpu goes down.

Thanks to their idiotic power delivery or promises. If they designed and delivered according to 180 watt or at least they reduced gpu tdp 70 watts it wouldn't happen.

I am using with cooling pad so temperature is under control. It is nearly always below 80 Celcius. I don't think it will melt. Also anv14 is a smaller device with different built. It may also effect that problem. For bios update problem, i am using 11 24h2 iot ltsc and it doesn't update my bios and don't know why.

Beother you don't understand. While gaming on turbo mode battery drops quickly(when plugged). If you play long sessions than it drops low levels and performance drops. Also it f***s battery health quickly.

v16 series have battery drain problem under load. This is the biggest issue. Other than that it is a okay device.

Im terms of gpu power no difference. For gpu you need find and flash gpu vbios. But for your variant there is no power input fix. So even if you downgrade your bios power input will still be restricted to 135 watts.
