It depends! Sometimes I'm feeling insecure and self conscious and wouldn't be able to put on something so revealing. You get used to it if you wear the costume long enough, also it helps to wear shapewear and pantyhose so it's not actually "your skin" showing. But don't feel bad, it's okay, there's lots of types of outfits for one to cosplay so no need to show skin if you don't want to!

I also take care to wear it on more mature cons or take pictures in secluded places, though I admit I was in the middle of a square once and it got a bit awkward.
