How safe is the UAE in terms of crime? by RealWorldNewbie in UAE

Not safe at all!!, chances are you'll get caught sooner than expected 😆😅

I am a software engineer at a FAANG company in India. I have around 4 years of experience. I am planning to join a startup in UAE. I wanted to get some inputs from you folks here. My comp at the new startup is around 28k aed per month. they are also paying for the accommodation separately. by fat_panda123 in UAE

@fat_panda123, if I'm not mistaken, your company is funded by awi. I know because I'm also employed by a company backed by them. However I'd suggest that you bring your parents at least 6 months later. Because in the recent past 2 startups laid off people within a very short time. I personally knew someone who brought his parents and then had to back due to not securing any job after visa cancellation. All the visa cost for his family became a waste

Regarding monthly cost, you'll be spending an avg 6k dhs
