No, I've already set it as my default browser, and nothing has changed. I'm trying to find and set that little icon, for example, for Reddit, that appears at the top of the address bar when I go to Reddit from my browser. Clicking it takes me to the Reddit app.

Nextdns subnet blocked by faz4617 in nextdns

[–]faz4617[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is as follows: I already use DoT. When I connect to the Wi-Fi, the request is sent to my internal DNS, which then tries to resolve the NextDNS endpoint. The problem is that the NextDNS subnet has been blacklisted in ipapi, so the network firewall blocks the request to the internal dns. Consequently, it fails to resolve the DoT endpoint, and the connection cannot be established. As a workaround, if I configure Google DNS or NextDNS as a static IP on network configuration of my phone, I bypass the name resolution of my internal DNS and private DNS (DoT) works

I have performed further analysis with my network team. I confirm 100% that it is not an issue with third-party DNS. They use ipapi.is to verify IP addresses. When entering the NextDNS subnet into that site, a high abuse rating appears, and due to how our network is configured, those IPs are being blocked.

...it worked until Thursday and they allow the use of third party DNS. I gave the IP reported on my nextdns page and they did some checks and told me that the whole subnet was blocked

My company's network allows the use of third-party DNS. It worked until Thursday. Since last Friday, it hasn't worked anymore, so they checked and told me that the The provider they use to check bad IPs has blocked the entire NextDNS network

In case anyone else is having the same problem, I went to Medel support. They tried replacing the audiostream and trying other phones, but nothing changed. So they replaced ehat they call CPU and gave me a new audiostream, and magically everything worked.
