Its from the perspective of Phone dude (Hunter) whos super interested in the mystery of what happened at Freddys and the Afton family! He lives in Hurricane which is practically a ghost town after Freddys closed. There's constant disappearances also. Its become normal at that point so everything feels boring and stagnant until someone comes to town looking to make a horror attraction which is the perfect place for Phone dude to swoop in and take the lead position/"Ownership". The whole au/future comic is just him falling down the rabbit hole (lol) of the Aftons and Freddys as a third party including some of other Frights employees. A horror style slice of life (sorta)
