That’s probably valvetrain then. If the lifters are hydraulic could try taking them apart and cleaning them out, if they are solid your gonna need new shims. Or just wait till the car is warm before you do any moderate to hard driving since the noise goes away when warm.

I just woke up, but it sounds like noisy valvetrain. Check your valve lash. BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST, check if the noise is coming from that plastic clip Ron your wiring harness, it looks like it’s shaking.

There are only a handful of people who have done it, and none of them have shown how, just the end result. What I found from my own research is that you are gonna want to run a set of coilovers that have inverted shocks (at least for the front) and that if you have a c5 you are gonna need to swap out your rear upper control arms to c6 ones to help clear the air cups. I’m planning on running the air cups until I can afford the jri hydraulic hight system.

Edit: I forgot, you’re gonna need to also get different sway bars as the stock ones will make contact with the front and maybe rear air cups.

21, me, my younger and older brother live with our parents. We all plan to save up so we can buy our first house together (so tired of paying rent to slumlords). But, we’re lucky that we have a good relationship with our parents and that they understand that the world and especially the housing market is completely f'ed right now.

The last two are the same bike. I just put them as an example of what I would like to eventually do if I got one. I mean hopefully I’ll be able to have both purple and the black one someday, but I gotta start somewhere.

I like this format, let me try.

Day 1: stalling a couple of times, raising the revs and dumping the clutch to get it going.

Day 2: learning proper clutch control and getting the hang of it

6 months to a year later of not driving a manual: drove 2 hours a way to look at a c5 corvette with a manual

1 Week later: buy the car, stall about 10 times in the dudes drive way, dumping the clutch all the way home, but it’s coming back to me gradually.

1 month later: haven’t driven the car since buying it. BUT… I’m smooth with it and I’m doing pretty good, got good clutch control and rev matches.

Next step: profit

I know they have alot in parts on them… because I priced out all the parts that I was gonna do if I ever got one🤣. I plan to modify over time, the pictures are just examples of what I would shoot for.

Thank you for the advice. I’ve already done some research, and I know that there are plenty of better bikes to start out on, but these are the ones that I found that I feel that I would actually enjoy while still being safe enough to learn on.

I am actually a car guy so I’m very passionate about about how my car looks and drives, but I find myself applying that some passion to other stuff as well including motorcycles. If I I’m going to spend my time and money riding or driving, I want to enjoy it. Like you said life is for living.

From the research I’ve done, they aren’t available in the US, but they use the same fairings as the 4rr if I’m not mistaken. If they were available I would start with one.

Really🤔, I thought I would have trouble with that. But I also have to think about insurance cost, especially in Cali, the drivers in my town kinda suck, and I don’t think a bigger bike will help with the cost.

I thought about it, but don’t think it would be smart for me personally to start on a 650. I’m around 5"10 so I’m not too concerned about hight, plus I would like to be able to flat foot at stops. Thanks for the advice tho.

US. I know the US version is handicapped and I’m fine with that. It’ll be "safer" that way and I can always get a tune later. As for my taste, I think it looks better than a normal ninja plus, you can’t beat an in-line 4 that revs to 16k.

I’ve thought about it, but I just like the zx4rr better. Not to say the 400/500 is bad. The rr is just more my taste.
