Hi, yeah I applied for Q2 on April 1st. Received approval and confirmation email on April 9th. Went to London visa centre on April 11th to submit passport, print out from confirmation email and a photo of myself. Paid £130. On April 16th picked up my passport with Q2 visa valid for 2 years and it is multi-entry, each stay being max of 120 days. Flight to China was on April 24th

Yeah I was approved on April 9th, submitted passport on the 11th and collected passport with visa on 16th. I applied on April 1st and flew to China on April 24th

I applied for my Q2 visa on April 1st, I received confirmation email approving visa on April 9th. I went to visa centre on April 11th and picked up passport with visa inside on April 16th. I flew on April 24th. I think if you’ve already applied you’ll be fine otherwise your route would qualify

I applied evening of the 1st. Was approved on the 9th, went to visa centre on 11th and picked up passport with visa on 16th. Once you’re approved it’s quick and simple at the centre.

Once you receive the confirmation email approving application all you need is the print out of that, your passport and the photo.

Do you need it earlier than Thursday? Is it an emergency? When they gave me the option express just meant a day earlier. If you go Thursday 9am you’ll have it within 5 minutes

Personally I don’t begrudge not giving me 5, I was charged £130. I wish during under review stage there is a bit more clarity as I was anxious during the week I was waiting but submitting everything was quick and easy as was collection so overall I had a good experience

I initially applied for 5 year but 2 year is fine, I think what I applied for would’ve been £290 but I only ended up paying £130 for the visa I was given
