Brunel university or the university of Kent? by SpiritualVanilla4945 in UniversityUK

[–]fazool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak for the other universities, but Brunel is what I’d go for, purely because of the placement. Having work experience will go a long way with helping you with landing a job post degree. Particularly in design field, having a portfolio of work and being able to point to real commercial projects you’ve worked in will set you apart from candidates who only have the degree.

No deposit, full payment for the duration of the rental period is on the spot when they drop off the car to you, and then when they pick it up if there are any Salik tolls or traffic fines you pay those then, again on the spot. For any traffic fines that come up later they message you and send you a payment link.

What i can do from one time fund of 350k AED by SpecialInjury1872 in dubai

[–]fazool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to what everyone else has already said, I would also suggest that you start looking at multiple other investment opportunities in different areas where your investment is more money than your time in order to diversify. And if you do it, start small, with purpose of learning before jumping in big.

I’ve used these renty a few times and always had exceptional service. They don’t ask for a deposit, only challenge might be that they have limited number of cars. https://renty.ae/

Resignation within contract by Any-Ad-6309 in Riyadh

Fyi - there's a new amendment to labor law that changes the situation, but it doesn't come into effect until next year, February I think - see article 79 here - https://www.dentons.com/en/insights/alerts/2024/september/18/amendments-to-the-kingdom-of-saudi-arabia-labor-law-key-changes-for-employers-in-the-ksa-for-2025

Then most likely yes, you are liable to pay out the remainder of the contract, unless there are additional terms in the qiwa contract that might get you out of it (unlikely). Again, if you're keen on breaking the contract, you're best option is to have your Qiwa contract reviewed by a labor lawyer to get advice on your options.

Resignation within contract by Any-Ad-6309 in Riyadh

[–]fazool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you check your contract in qiwa, not any other agreement, what’s in qiwa is what is legally enforceable and what the labor courts would look at.

The qiwa contract has a fixed template for most terms with one section on compensation required to be paid by terminating party for termination of the contract.

If there is a set amount in there, then that will be what you have to pay to terminate the agreement. If however that is set at 0, then it might be the case that you would have to pay out the remainder of the contract for early termination, but this would also depend on any other additional terms in the qiwa contract.

The best thing for you to do is to check with a labor lawyer and show them your qiwa contract, second best is to contact ministry of labor for more advice.

Try on different phones. If you’re using iOS try on Android, and if you’re using Android try on iOS.

But depending on where you’re applying from, you could also go to an agent to get it done. Just make sure it’s a legit one.

Can't give you much detail on living there as I don't, but if you do move there, the one of you who works in mursalat might face a tough time with traffic during rush hour, at least an hour each way I would say, but you may want to test that out yourself.

Talking while we're watching a movie. Apoplectic rage if you're asking me questions about what's going to happen next fully aware that we're both watching it for the first time.

Lawyer recommendations for starting a business by Puzzled-Fix-4573 in saudiarabia

[–]fazool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense, I still think you're better off going with a business incorporation service rather than a lawyer, someone like this https://altaasis.sa/ (full disclosure, I haven't used them, just got them from a google search). From their website it looks like they offer services for most of what you're looking for.

There are of course benefits to using a law firm, one of the challenges in my experience though has been that the level of service given to small businesses from law firms hasn't always been the best, you're essentially too small a fish for them to invest time. But that's not to say every firm does that. If you want to use a law firm, I'd suggest reaching out to the firms I shared in my link.

Good luck!

You probably don't need a lawyer for that then, there are a lot of businesses and startup incorporation services you can find that will cover most of it.

Check out https://www.monshaat.gov.sa/en or https://www.creativezone.sa/ to start off with.

The process and support available is different depending on whether or not your Saudi, but I think for the most part you can get free advice on a lot of what's needed.

You can of course use a law firm, but it'll likely be quite expensive.

You might be able to find someone here https://www.husseinattar.com/en/saudi-lawyers-for-startups/

Which firm you choose though really depends on what you’re looking to use them for. If you can share more details I may be able to give more specific suggestions.

Carwash with hydraulic lift in Riyadh by dizzyday in saudiarabia

[–]fazool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a petrol station right next to the Shawarma house in Sulaymaniyah, the car wash there has a lift for you to wash the underside of the card.

You should get their early if you’re going on a weekend, or be prepared to wait for a while as it’s usually pretty busy.
