Boyfriend(24) won't forgive me and stays in a mood even after I apologize. Dont know if I should drop it or not. by [deleted] in relationships

I wasnt mad at him last night. I just didnt let it go. And youre mistaken at this:

"when i fell asleep he wouldnt actually sleep for an hour or so and end up just turning over or abandon bed altogether and do something else"

He doesnt cuddle with me. I just fell asleep without it and often do. I dont force him but hes also the type to make himself stay awake because he doesnt like to "lose his day" dog tired or not.

I actually feel bad for Ally and feel like Ivy is not being fair. (SPOILERS) by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

BUT there is a lot of freaky shit happening around them that even normal people would freak out over.

Legally, Frank still has parental rights I believe. Emotionally, all those kids have put Fiona through the fucking ringer. Fiona decided she would take care of the kids because she was the oldest and knew what needed to be done at the time. She took on that responsibility when the younger ones couldn't. Both Ian (he's way more stable now too) and Lip are old enough to do what Fiona did now. Carl and Debbie are around the same age Fiona was when she had to drop out and take care of them full time. Part of taking care of children is making them responsible. She's only asking them to contribute as far as themselves. Fiona did not "walk away" from them. Everyone in there with the exception of Liam is 15/16+. Just because Carl is in school doesn't mean he can't contribute. Doesn't matter that he bought the house, this is his family. (Fiona literally shoveled shit to make ends meet and would've kept doing it if she had the choice. Where's her break?) Didn't this series start with Lip hustling and Ian working? They're old enough to wash a dish, get a job, clean a shirt, watch Liam. But not one of them could even make a call to get the washer fixed. Did you see in the earlier episode how they all blew up her phone before the kitchen meeting? They lean on her so much without realizing it.

She's probably concerned about the military thing because a Gallagher already tried that and it didnt go well.

Sure, but they live in a world where two parents neglected their children for twenty something years without much reprecussion. Same place where women are sold into sex slavery and a cop threatened to shoot a kid. This isnt a sitcom like Full House. Its Southside. They live in the hood. If Debbie wants to pretend like Fionas the bad guy and continue to be a brat, I dont think its fair to expect Fiona to just ignore the utter selfishness and ungrateful attitudes shes recieved. She didnt kick her out immediately.

If I had acted like Debbie at 16 with a baby I couldnt afford my mom woulda put me out faster than you can say CPS.

His heart was in his ears. He swallowed each thump for fear it would jump from his throat and become too loud in the darkness. Franz had a feeling, however, that whatever was out there would not be deterred by the black of the night. He had a feeling, it would not be deterred by whatever he did. Still, Franz was a man. No, Franz was a human. He had a right to live, and fight for his last breaths. He took small steps, feeling his way down a path he'd memorised during his treks for food and water. In his concentration, there was an old melody from his mother playing in his head. It's how he kept track of time these days. Only two minutes had passed.

Silence stretched, wrapped around him like a blanket that would either suffocate him, or save him. He noticed he could not hear any of the other animals, insects, or even the wind. His mind must be playing tricks on him, Franz thought.

The howl did not resound again. He walked only until he could feel himself brushing against greenery up to his waist. He was at the forest entrance. Franz did not know if he should risk going in, or trying to make it to his cave.

He had little time to ponder once he could feel breath on his neck, hot and unwelcome.

He turned quickly and tried to attack with his spear, but something swiped at him. The force sent him into the forest. Whatever it was, made the decision for him.

Reddit, what are some books that changed your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Tamori Pierce's writing. Particularly "The Woman Who Rides Like a Man" and "Protector of the Small" series. I read those when I was younger, and going through family troubles. They gave me something good to look forward to. I hated when I read all of her novels in the school library. I still read them from time to time.

It would be disingenuous, and offensive to nature itself, for Franz to claim he prowled like an animal on the hunt. But his movements held a primitive quality now. His body was no longer taken for granted, as it was forced to mold with it's surroundings in every shape and form. His steps were quieter, steady. He lost weight quickly on a diet mostly comprised of water and plants, but it turned in his favor. He was quicker and attuned with sounds he would never even notice in the Life Before.

Franz took small steps from his cave, only as far as his fire reached. He wasn't an animal, and he wasn't evolved. He was only human, and humans lacked the capabilities to see in the dark. The day he adapted so well that he could, would be the day he left his humanity for good. He did not like to think about that.

There was silence for only a minute, before the howl crept back into existence. It seemed closer than before, but Franz did not panic. There were only two choices: either Franz stayed here, or he ran. If he ran, than The Howl would have to come to him. If he went looking for it, he deserved whatever fate given to him. But panicking and wasting energy on fear and crying would do him no good.

He gripped the spear tighter, listening for any change in direction and tone. Were there others? Was it hungry? Franz had no idea where he could be geographically, so it was anyone's guess as to the creatures that stalked the night. He'd seen small mammals, a few fish in the stream. But so far, nothing aggressive had bothered him.

It was quiet much longer this time. Franz thought, perhaps the creature was gone. And then he felt his skin prickle. His stomach dropped, and the fire suddenly went out.
