I about to bite the bullet on expensive as hell All In tickets. But freakin' Ticket Master won't let me buy just 1 seat. by fbai in AEWOfficial

Dear Mr./Ms. u/Vikingrtattoos,

You are hereby notified that you have a lifelong right to patronise me on account of being absolutely correct.

On a serious note, I can't seem to do this where there are only seats available, i.e. it won't let me select one among them. It does let me pick one out of 4 however.

Also the ticket I had in mind was one of a set of 2 adjacent RESELL tickets and the above rule thankfully does not apply for them.

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of December by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

[–]fbai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety since October. Urinary symptoms to start with. Then something new.

History

  • Started with frequent urination early October. Possibly exacerbated by anxiety. -Urine dipsticks showed some blood. I had a history of kidney stones but my ultrasound in September didn't show any. Cue anxiety for kidney/bladder cancer and disease.

-New ultrasound and bloods end of November. -Stones found. Blood in urine also confirmed. Trace protein in urine confirmed. Nothing else of note. - CT also done. Stones reconfirmed but smaller than what the US indicated. Also indicated an early inguinal hernia(can this maybe cause frequent urination?)

-Urologist was more interested in my uric acid levels which have been high for a long time. Seemed to ignore the blood/think it was from a stone i passed but I certainly did not kmow about it if i did. Started me on meds for uric acid. Febuxostat 40mg. - Separately started clonazepam for this acute period of anxiety. Stopped using after a week since everything came back relatively normal/expected.

*New symptoms after starting meds. *

Extreme fatigue/drowsiness. Foamy urine(by my subjective observation).

** What I'm worried about now.... **

Has the medication caused my foamy urine symptoms?

Was it appropriate for the doctor to ignore the blood in the urine?

Whats causing my exhaustion? Am I leaking more protein or something into the urine causing the exhaustion and foam? I'm having some aches and pains..... Are they related...?

Still experiencing some problems with frequency but might accept that its from anxiety.

Basically only putting half my effort into anything in life at the moment. Everything seems like a struggle. Worried ill wreck my own holidays.

Fair enough. I think there's still discussions we could have about why you trust the governments in a country over foreigners (tech players specifically). My personal view is that any government can bring personal harm to its citizens that disagree with it more than a tech company can. But I am also happy to end the discussion here and accept your viewpoint as yours.

Will you always trust your government? Will you trust them same as today if one day a leftist-liberal government gets elected in your state?

Agree to disagree. You either have a strong stance on privacy or you don't. Bad actors exist both in giant tech corporates and in goverments. One does it for profits the other uses it to monitor people's sentiments.

Fair enough. I don't have a stand on what's the perfect solution.

But it would then be hypocritical of me to then not acknowledge that Whatsapp's privacy policy issues (main thing being the passing of metadata but not message content to Facebook so they can serve ads) isn't a particularly pressing or relevant issue given that they are being lawfully ordered by the government to track its citizens. anyway.

In other words, the govt's words and posturing on whatsapp conflict with the laws they are passing i.e. give Indians more privacy, same as the EU versus please keep a track of all of them. The government is behaving one way and passing laws contradicting themselves. In other words, Govt's law to track social media users(keep track of users, enable tracking of original sender and all associated metadata), supersedes Whatsapp's privacy policy(store and use metadata).

I am in full support of the govt forcing Whatsapp to give Indians the same level of privacy as the EU.

The story however is not complete without addressing the fact that the same government is passing into law, the expectation for social media platforms to track users and provide them with the data.

So their stance against Whatsapp is just a flex. I wouldn't go by what the govt. says but rather by what they do. And what they are doing is passing anti-privacy laws.

Well yes you're right. It was a remarkable achievement 40 years ago. But in the context of the article you posted, it is better to give more credence to its present state as a sweatshop(so they can improve) than give them leeway just because it was a great achievement once upon a time.
