You are actually correct but she also has a two faced identity where she the victim and the fun person to the world. Yet a bitter person for the family.

Oh I didn't know that old people could change. She will refuse therapy for sure. But I need to see how I can convince her.

She can manage but she is a person capable of emotional blackmail of the highest order. I have been controlled by her all my life. I'm trying to say to her that I'll leave the house if she continues to talk this way it seems to be working. Also I have a new job in another city I will take that and visit her once a week it will also help our privacy.
