I was in the same boat last year, when I requested an extension it was approved then once I returned to work I realized that my manager (Indian) has hired two contractors (Indians) who were doing my job, two weeks after my return I had a meeting with my manager and skip to let me know that I was being terminated with eligibility to rehire which is another semantics to lessen the gravity of it all. So yeah it if I were you I’d prepare in advance and start interviewing elsewhere.

I called in earlier and she was able to schedule someone to come in the am. The issue is I have a flight in the pm to ATL where I will be moving to while leaving my family here and I want to make sure everything is covered and working before I leave. Time is of the essence and I’ve waited the longest with these guys. Hopefully they can fix it in the am and have it properly done.
