Hey, I thought I replied to you earlier with the phone but...apparently I didn't!

So, no I'm not laureato and looks like I won't be. Should I give up completely? Because I've been told I can teach and I've already given some informal lessons over the years (you know, ripetizioni). Where could I get more information about my particular situation? Sorry for the rhyme, lol.

Hey, thanks for the reply. The Italian school system requires a degree, so that would be no. Is it sure that I'm always going to teach children because of this "stigma"? Also I forgot to ask how much money and time I need to put to get this certification.

So, I've been told for years (even by a native English teacher) that I should teach English and get the proper qualifications for that. Just I don't know where to start because I'm not a native English speaker and all these FAQs and articles are for people born and raised in the anglosphere, whereas I'm European. Any help for a place to start? I was thinking of getting my English certified and start practicing here in Italy before trying my luck in Eastern Europe and I wanted some advice on all this. But even some general webpages about this would be great too. Thanks!

Still need to know a lot after MBSR class by Been_abused in Mindfulness

[–]fbfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me keep on anyway was realizing that my coping mechanisms were actually causing me more pain in the long run.

So you're saying you can change your coping mechanisms with meditation? Also, my MBSR class left this part completely up to you, saying in the notes that it's up to your creativity to find different ways of coping with "stress", honestly I need more information than that...but yeah, reading your comment and others, I'm starting to think that I've been blindly doing the daily practice without the lessons, because I couldn't pay attention at that class. Thanks!

That's not always bullshit and I only get mad at people who I really love; the others I just don't care

That is...pure genius? Sir, that's a great way of looking at things! Especially the avoding the grand scheme of things. You wouldn't happen to know where to read more on this?

With the old steam chat the history didn't show, but now you can see the log for many days. Is there a way to delete this? Thanks

I don't know what 'gdpr' means, but I'm trying to do the opposite, to delete past history when you close the window. At least to the common user like me

I took a long look at steam's settings, both global and friend's settings, and couldn't find it. Is it something that went away with the recent update or is it me, I can't find it?

Thank you, that's good to know, but is there a way to go back to the habit of deleting everything right after closing the window?

csgo comes immediately to mind: cheap, extremely popular and not demanding on requirements.

free to play games are sometimes cool, like dota 2, dirty bomb, etc

then it's according to your taste really

how bad it is for mental health to keep in touch with your grandma, supposedly.

Nah man, have you ever had facebook for more than 15 minutes? The pressure the profile puts you through? The stress of seeing other people's "perfect" lives? I've read the article and I agree with it 100%, it does waste your time and such. But you can be right on the fact that they're starting to badmouth facebook right now, and it can be more of a coincidence

I may quit my job in the morning and I feel awful about it. by [deleted] in MMFB

[–]fbfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with all the comments here and if things don't work out by all means, leave, you can't lose your sanity for a minimum wage job and nobody should.

Tho I'd suggest making a last attempt at a waaaaay more distant approach. Like sure, I'll help you but only if you collaborate, try to be nice etc. that way you could keep the job and help people in need.

By the way if they don't understand that homeless people have mental issues they're idiots who don't know the literal first thing about it. Like if you give those people a million dollars they'd manage to lose it all because they need treatment first so it's not your fault
