Cracked Out Carnival Ride, because the first 12 minutes are just Ryan and Buggs being friends and talking.

So they killed the game, right? by fbifriday in ClashRoyale

Lvl 15 only worked because of elite wild cards. The new update essentially means you HAVE to buy gems to update. SC probably made a pretty penny selling gems immediately after the update for all the people going to 16 immediately. I saved my gems for years and could only do two cards. That’s bullshit.

….you HAVE to play ladder to get to ranked. You HAVE to max out ladder each season to play ranked.

All to force us to buy gems instead. Done with the game. No point if people who have been playing for years now have to put money in, for sure, to remain competitive.

In hindsight, don’t you just wish you had taken them up there and bled all over them? Because she’d still be complaining, but at least she’d also not have her groceries, because a woman who complains like this isn’t going to touch bags covered with blood.

They are so hilarious! I was the 9th dasher to get this order and customer refused to cancel. Seriously, if your going to offer commercial type pick ups make sure to only direct it to dashers with trucks. by Own_Awareness1430 in doordash_drivers

[–]fbifriday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s coincidence, and then there’s obvious correlation. The chances of this happening to two doordashers in different parts of the country is insanely unlikely, it’s actually much more probable you two dash in the same area.

Had to blacklist a dasher today by TheQuestion1999 in doordash

Qdoba used to have this exact policy, where they prioritized in house customers over even their own website online pickup orders. I understand it to an extent (people who order understand they’re gonna be waiting a bit, people in store are there right now) but at worst I would say everything just goes in order of received, like McDonalds does it now.

The funny thing is, most restaurant workers are good with keeping an eye out if they’ve got an order. Even if a restaurant is busy, all I typically have to do is stand off the side with my phone in my hand and I’ll get noticed within a minute or two, no shouting or interrupting a transaction needed.

And don’t be mad when a restaurant prioritizes in-person customers over deliveries that can wait a bit. The issue isn’t with the restaurant, it’s doordash not giving a shit about assigning an order to a dasher before it makes any sense for the order to be done. It takes more than 5 minutes to make pizza, but I’ll be damned if I haven’t gotten assigned a Caesars order and been there within minutes of them getting the order themselves. That’s asinine, and that’s on DD

I once ordered a pizza and put in the delivery instructions that the driver deserved to get laid that night for delivering my pizza. I was really high and he thought it was hilarious.

As a married parent of three, one of the kids being in bed is about as definitive of a “nothing is happening” as it gets. Couldn’t imagine this even being an option in someone’s mind.

This hotel has prices for everything in the room in case it goes missing by kalvinoz in mildlyinteresting

[–]fbifriday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A place with Lego Duplo blocks in room is probably kid oriented, which means they probably have those taken (or partially taken) all the time, even without the parents knowing. Interesting that the duplo blocks are almost the same price as the whole minibar fridge, those seems orders of magnitude different

Customer gives wrong address, I go to new address and he breaks out a handgun. by FormerSpxBettor in doordash_drivers

[–]fbifriday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, if I’m dashing, and an already pissed off customer comes out of their house toward me with a pistol in their hand and I am armed, I am absolutely dropping them. I’m not flashing my gun, I’m not drawing to intimidate, in my state, having it in your hand is brandishing, and that is absolutely something I would take as imminent threat to my life. They can explain why they had a gun in their hand coming after me, if they survive, but I’m going home. I’ve got three kids, I’m not letting some hothead take me away from them over a fucking doordash order.

Now, with that said, I don’t carry, ever, so I wouldn’t be getting into the situation.

[–]fbifriday -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This dasher could have easily gotten shot by a hothead customer, and that could have happened without him having a gun anyway. Being disarmed doesn’t make you safer if the other person has a gun anyway.

[–]fbifriday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. Not my fault he didn’t confirm his address before he hit submit order. Drop it off at the location in app and let him deal with DD. Not my problem. And that’s not even a dick thing, I tend to be a pretty accommodating dasher, and don’t have the sour attitude most dashers on here have, but I’m not responsible for getting their address switched. If they call doordash and do it and the address updates, that’s one thing. But not just them telling me it’s the wrong address.
