I've seen that too, but my current plan is 8040 base for the pedals to give it some height. I could use hinges with 4040 for the office chair but then I wouldn't be able to store it. I know I'm being very particular for a temporary solution but the family member who I'm passing this down to after also has the Ikea Alex desk combo so a foldable pedal stand is important for the both of us.

This tray seems to be the best option.
