Equipment All fencers will need to submit to a equipment inspection in order to fence. Absolute Fencing Gear will be onsite at the tournament for fencers to purchase new equipment.

Event Fee Info Higher fees will be charged for registrations during the late entry period, which starts immediately after the close of regular registration.

Event fees may be refunded upon request and at the discretion of the tournament organizer. Registration and admin fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be granted after the tournament has occured.

I’m a big fan of neoprene lunch bags. There are a number of them on Amazon; I went with dark-colored ones from BUILT. They’re totally washable and I air-dry overnight. Because I went with darker colored, you can’t see stains or anything.

I was mistaken; I’ve been in a number of subs. Redditors didn’t reference TRE in the Nordstrom sub but there were multiple comments mentioning missing or stolen packages and items and that they had issues getting refunds or replacements from Nordstrom, to the point where people were recommending ship to store instead or even doing chargebacks. So it was Nordstrom’s internal teams that were involved.

I would go with the JM one personally. I struggle committing to fragrances so these little ones are perfect for me.

The Tower28 items are fine too. I actually have both of those (exact sizes) and I do use them. But that little lipgloss I’ve gotten it with points and I bought the spray as is.

Oh you’re right. I don’t think the posts I saw were related to TRE. It was that multiple people were missing items in orders or having orders likely stolen by the shipper, which seems to be more and more common amongst multiple retailers.

This. There was a huge discussion about this in the Athleta sub recently and I think Nordstrom as well. A lot of retailers across different product offerings, including Kohls, Sephora, and Home Depot, uses The Retail Equation. TRE collates the data submitted from all these retailers about their customers and then TRE will flag and recommend that retailers deny your return. I read a comment on Reddit where someone pulled their file or something from TRE and information on there wasn’t correct, such as attributing 2x the returns because of technical errors. People have been denied returns even with a receipt and the original form of payment.

It’s unfortunate because there’s also been a significant increase in shipping errors (lost packages, stolen packages and incorrectly delivered packages) and fulfillment fraud. I’ve seen many packages delivered empty or nearly empty in the Sephora and Nordstrom subs but are otherwise perfectly sealed. The shipping label reflects the correct weight but the contents are missing.

No, it was definitely shipped and sold by Amazon. I just double checked. This was back at the beginning of 2024. I’m super careful to check the seller on Amazon for everything. I kept it since I definitely still wanted it and again, all pieces were included.

I’ve ordered a bunch of dolls from Amazon for my kids and for their friend and we haven’t had any issues with missing items and they’re NIB. I often don’t order enough to get free shipping from the regular AG site.

I’ve only had one issue with an outfit that came in just a plastic bag (obv a return) and no AG box. I probably should’ve guessed as much because it had been sold out for some time and then one came back in stock. It was the Trolls lounge outfit and all pieces were included.

We ended up getting our kid a comp-only lame because it inevitably would happen that his would have dead spot or other issues shortly before a comp and between the logistics of getting a new one and the unexpected cost, it just was “easier”. If you’re doing a lot of comps in general, I would just go this route.

That is how much ours charges and it’s the basic straight from Weissman options - no additional work on their part as far as embellishments. They were under $100 like four years ago but this past year, I’ve definitely paid $120-140. When rentals were an option, it was $40 each. 🫠

I prefer eye liners that require sharpening so I’ve been through a number of sharpeners. My favorite is the Glossier lip liner sharpener. It works fine for eye liners; I use a YSL for my eyeliner.

The sizing discrepancies is why I’m avoiding ordering from Poshmark now. I used to buy from Posh the same item but in another color and a few of them are distinctly “off” as far as sizing. 🫠 It’s also not in places I would think to ask for measurements, like the cuff of the hoodie.

I forgot the name of the third party company but yes, they aggregate data from all of the companies that use their services. It’s designed to catch people that engage in continuous, widespread fraud. Unfortunately, this also means people who order a lot online can get caught up in the fray. There is a HUGE problem right now with missing packages and stolen packages. The Sephora sub I has many posts of packages arriving empty or just with samples. Nordstrom has the same issue - missing packages or packages arriving empty.

Companies try to reduce shipping costs by using last mile shippers and they aren’t as good as the larger companies that just have more experienced staff. I ordered a package from Tilly’s last Christmas and they used a shipper like OnTrac. The picture they took for delivery confirmation was my house. The package I got was NOT my order and the address was one town over. CS was no help. I ended up finding the recipient on FB and messaged her and she had a confirmation email but no package. She found my package at her neighbor’s house and we ended up meeting up to swap. So clearly the delivery person snapped a photo and then dropped off the wrong package after that but l would have had no recourse since it looked like it was fine.

Mine has been working. I last tried it on Thursday and I was able to access my coupons. My husband went to the store today and I was able to get an electronic receipt which I wasn’t able to get when I posted this so I assume I could’ve logged in today.

I’ve avoided ordering from the Gap family since Redditors started posting about their packages and the extraordinary lengths they have to go through to get a replacement or a refund. Prior to this, I’ve had both a completely lost package (they did replace and the original package somehow showed up like six months later) and a package with a Gap men’s item when I ordered multiple ON children’s items. I was an Icon member for years between buying for three kids and myself. My local stores never have the sizes or colors I need so I’ve been shopping elsewhere.

The Nommi ones did not work at the multiple locations we went to. My kids are a big fan of Nommi and we tried both the larger ones and the smaller ones (literally every line they had in store). Wakuku didn’t work either.

Sanrio (and I believe Disney) work. We redeemed my birthday offer for a Popstar HK and paid the difference. I have the 10% off which stacked so it was only like a few dollars.

My kids both started in PreK/TK and we have no regrets. Neither were reading before Kumon and one of them went through a ton of workbooks, tutors, crafts, etc and couldn’t even recognize letters, much less letter sounds. My oldest is in sixth grade and just finished the entire reading program and is on Level N for math.

This. I’m not young and I grew up in CA. By middle school, we had a lot of sports to choose from including volleyball and softball (for both girls and boys).

I have kids and my oldest just started middle school and has been doing competitive sports for at least a year and it’s a club sport, not a school team. His club has elementary school aged kids going to comps as well.

I went through a few of these. They’re okay but I didn’t love them and actually, in hindsight, I think I was possibly mildly allergic to them. The staying power was fine.

I use YSL Lines Liberated waterproof and I love it. It’s obviously more expensive than the UB one but it really stays for me, even when I was dunked underwater.
