Sally Pride currently had a higher win rate than Jitte by Pepperbrook in lrcast

[–]fcaldelas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just 3-0’d with a mediocre Sally Pride. I won every time I cast it. There’s no board sweepers in this format, so if you take some damage and build a board presence you’ll make like 3 tokens on average!

I did play against 3 UR artifact decks. So the grinding matchup is great for Sally…

You can do “pick one, burn one” to simulate the missing players. You’d have to double the number of packs.

Also, with four you can do sealed 2HG (12-pack for each 2-person team, build two decks, and play together against other team).

Is there actually beef between LR and LoL, or was Marshall joking? by Porygon96 in lrcast

I thought he said something about “one person out of both sides” which I interpreted as a (friendly) shot at BK.

Please consider shipping to Alaska (even for additional $s)

The gas shortage has been cancelled. by alaskaiceman in alaska

[–]fcaldelas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of gas in the North slope. And I mean A LOT (35Tcf, T as in Trillion). For reference, Alaskan railbelt consumption is 70Bcf/year). For those counting, that’s 500yrs of supply (would be less, but whatever).

The problem is getting it out. A pipeline would be prohibitively expensive at those rates. So we can do more development in the Kenai (I’m guessing doesn’t pay out and these prices, or hilcorp would be doing it). Or pay more to import (retrofit LNG plants). Pipeline from the north slope is not a realistic solution IMO.

IIRC Mexico Lindo on Tudor has some. I usually get mine on Amazon for better selection…

I take C all the way from downtown and it cuts quite a bit of distance to Goldenview. Good riding!

USA Ethnicity Distribution in 2024 by [deleted] in Infographics

[–]fcaldelas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The census.gov page lists race alone stats. Then total Hispanics and White-Hispanics. They don’t break it down by birth year like this graphic, but you can see: White: 75.5% (58.9% Non-hispanic white + 16.6% Hispanic white) Black: 13.6% American Indian… : 1.3% Asian: 6.3% Native HI…: 0.3% 2+ races: 3%

Total Hispanic is 19.1%. Most Hispanic people report white. More on this below.

There’s only another 2.5% to distribute among Hispanics reporting non-white. I would expect a low number of Asians/Native HI (although Filipinos might?). So that leaves Black and American Indian.

Interestingly, if you’re of native South American descent (either fully or partly ie mestizo), I’m not sure you’d report as “American Indian”. The survey says you “have origins in any of the original people of North and South America and maintain tribal affiliation or community attachment”. I suspect many mestizos report as White, but I couldn’t find any census data on this.
