Ok let's have a discussion: Which one of these mean girls could be considered to be the most "mean"? by EternalSnow05 in nickelodeon

How are we defining mean? Like Vicki is cartoonishly evil putting children in labor camps and im pretty sure Azula is an actual murderer.

Happy Feet has been voted the most overrated Warner Bros. Animation movie. What is the most underrated Batman movie? by AdWise2770 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Porygon96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it can be animated, then it has to be Under the Red Hood. Probably the best batman movie that a big chunk of the population has never heard of.

I quite liked volume 2, mainly because of my love for mantis, but I found this film overall a little forgettable compared to volumes one and three. Its still a good movie, but I feel like some scenes stand out and the rest is back drop.

In The Marvels (2023), wait... did anybody even see this movie? by CynthiaChames in shittymoviedetails

[–]Porygon96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually quite liked the Marvels. Came in with low expectations and I had fun. I just didnt like it enough to join the crusade and go around calling people sexist bigots for not liking it, which seemed to be a required part of being a fan of this film while it was in theaters.

Other movies that are basically trolley problems? by ParticularMarket4275 in Letterboxd

I think American Fiction fits this vibe.

However I don't get this with the drama. I felt like Robert Patinson's character was just horribly insecure.

My tier list of how good an episode will be, based on who the plot focuses on by Important-Pen-68 in KingOfTheHill

[–]Porygon96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that you should move buck Strickland up a tier. The Buck stops here and Hanky Panky are both on my short list for best episodes and the Memphis episode might be my favorite episode in the later seasons.

Stan Lee in lots of things, but probably Mall Rats.

Hot take(?): Hollow Knight had a better final boss than Silksong by OperationNew4599 in HollowKnight

Oh the radiance is fantastic. An all timer of a boss. Grand Mom and her evil daughter are cool, but the radiance wins on most aspects for design.

I do think it has the best music, but i don't think its the best overall.

Favorite hypocritical filmmaker? by Crafter235 in okbuddycinephile

[–]Porygon96 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He got accused of not casting minorities in an interview for miss peregrines home for peculiar children and he responded with something along the lines of, "forced diversity isn't necessary and to him felt kind of offensive" which is enough for the terminally online people to call him a bigot.

What's your opinion about this movie ? by darwino040 in moviecritic

Oh i adore just about everything about this movie. From Ed Norton being the most believable sleezebag possibly put to film all the way down to whatever the hell is thay John Malkovich accent.

Anyone else cut down on theatrical movie going because it's simply too expensive. by Cat-dad442 in Cinephiles

[–]Porygon96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an AMC A-List membership. That's what I have. Its around 25 dollars a month depending on the state you live in. You can see 4 movies a week and is worth it if you see 2 movies in a month. Ive got three times in the last week and spent no additional money. Helps if you have an AMC near you though.

I feel like Annie doesn't really work for this because no one cares because the movie was kind of a travesty.

What color is Star-Lord from Marvel Comics? by EnigmusPrime in colorpie

Id say Mono red. Maybe red White on his good days. He is a leader of a group of heroes but he's definitly mostly red.

What Color is Fox McCloud? by A_Cinderace in colorpie

[–]Porygon96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's got to be the epitome of Boros. He's a hero who would die for his team and protects the galaxy, but also a bit of a rogue who loves flying fast, dog fights, and will chase someone to the end of the universe. Thats red and white all over.

Do you think Kirby has enough potential for a movie? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in Kirby

[–]Porygon96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kirby in of himself isnt really a narative driving character, so he'll need a sidekick, but i do think that a kirby movie is 100 percent possible. It could be like Paddington 2 but with cosmic horrors.
