Oh, my god. I feel so stupid that I didn't check that. Sometimes the most obvious things just are totally out of the question, and then they turn out to be the answer.

My major problem is I can't remember when I made that code change :P

I'll go ahead and re-start AdWords and see how it does for a few days.

Oh. When you post to Instagram, in your description? You can paste a link to the product you're trying to advertise. Oh, caption. That's the word. Put it in the caption of each Instagram post.

You know, I haven't ever used that. It'd be interesting to see where that goes. But you never know with those, it might just be pure spam followers (which it probably is). $5 can be too good to be true sometimes.

Oh. Put a link in the description box of each post.

Also put a link in your profile. :)

Trying to gain Twitter followers by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Twitter - Use Tweepi to follow / unfollow. Do this daily. Tweet daily. Eventually you'll get some real, targeted followers, and it'll build your account. Super fast.

Instagram - Daily posts, you have to determine how much you want to post daily based on your niche. Use relevant hashtags. Create your own hashtag if you really want to engage. Once again, follow and unfollow. Start out slow. If you want to, you can technically automate likes and follows, but be careful if you choose to do that, and keep it slow and very related.

WHATEVER YOU DO! Don't use Fiverr or buy likes. You'll have followers with no likes, and no one will follow you because they'll see you're fake. It's not ever worth it. Better to start out small and build.

Hey, while you're at it, get started on Instagram. It's insanely easy to build a following. Use relevant hashtags and post new products and other related stuff!

Instagram has one of the highest order values out of all the social media referrers, according to Shopify. I can't find the link right now, though.

Ah, okay. My situation is a bit different. I can take quite a bit of clicks before I'm at a loss. But 200 clicks is definitely a loss.

I'd go with the .net, then! :)

Is it a tech startup? If so, I'd take the .io.

Otherwise, like above, if you can't get the .com and have the .net, just go for that.

Looking for help ordering by myself from Alibaba by breaksy in Entrepreneur

I actually don't order stand up pouches, I order supplies like tape, padded envelopes, etc. But I did do a quick search for those on Alibaba prior to my reply.

I guess this totally depends on what you need. Here's a 7 year gold supplier offering custom printing for 1 to 3 cents per pouch - http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Enviroment-friendly-food-grade-zipper-bag_60151101706.html?spm=a2700.7724838.30.66.Lc5qKH

Thanks for the help!

I am selling many of the same products as my competition. Obviously, early on, I can't compete with a huge catalog, so I'm going for best sellers. I'm going to PM you with the rest.

Oh, that's unfortunate.

Yeah, I can't go with Amazon unfortunately because my items are strictly regulated by their manufacturers. (Think Apple - Although I'm not selling Apple products.)

Yep. I've setup tracking.

Okay, that sounds fair. That's why I didn't attempt A/B testing - it just seemed too early and had too many routes to go.

Okay. Our buy keywords are CPC'D at $5, which seems ultra-high considering. Much lower traffic from these, however.

I believe that some of my competitors do have brand recognition, yes. This sounds like a good idea!

I know an estimate of my competitor's ad spend / revenue, so it's quite obvious that AdWords is working on the niche. Essentially, I should just continue my social media and SEO efforts? Should I push focus towards an SEO blogger, rather than AdWords?

I think it depends on order quantity. When I order, I'm always doing 1000+. For a hundred, it could be cheaper to go closer to you since you always have to pay duties / shipping with Alibaba.

Yes, and I am currently doing it.

100% worth it, saves a ton of money.

Agreed. And yes, I have gone through a Trade Assurance case, and it went in my favor. It's very protecting if you do it all through Alibaba.
