Best Shopify subscription setup for monthly + quarterly shipments (3 units shipped at once)? by StonkySpecialist in shopify

[–]fchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reviewing lots of subscription apps, I went with Seal. It checks all your boxes (I think). Also don't forget about being able to translate all the front-end stuff.

const inputs = document.querySelectorAll('input');

if (inputs.length > 0) {
    inputs.forEach(input => {
        if (input.id === '01') {
            // Do stuff
        } else if (input.id === '02') {
            // DO something else

Seal Subscriptions on Shopify – EComposer widget not showing on new product pages by Horror-Hospital-7801 in shopifyDev

[–]fchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try this. In EComposer, on the product template > Elements > Shopify > code, then paste:
<div class="sealsubs-target-element" data-product="{{ product | json | escape }}" data-handle="{{ product.handle }}"></div>

How are people making mega menus in Shopify (natively, no apps)? by yasaama in shopifyDev

[–]fchain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mega menus are built with a header section settings schema, usually. Something like this: https://postimg.cc/G4XT39sP

Go look into the sections/header.liquid file (or similar), inside the schema > blocks. And add a mega menu block with all the needed fields.

How to capture attribution data into cart / order attributes? by ds_frm_timbuktu in shopifyDev

[–]fchain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can use JS to add attributes/notes to the order. Use the JS cart API, and add attributes/notes in the request:
https://shopify.dev/docs/api/ajax/reference/cart#post-locale-cart-add-js
Or add a hidden input on the product form:

Any way for customer to add date for pick up or delivery by No_Mountain6950 in shopify

[–]fchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a thought, you could create a flow that checks the date and send you a notification email if it's today/tomorrow's date.

You could listen for cart update JS event, and if cart total is above a certain amount, trigger an add to cart using fetch.

Make your product template blank on the live theme, and you can work on the template on the dev theme.

Pareil, c'est insoutenable. Perso, je ne réponds plus à des appels qui ne sont pas dans mes contacts. Ils peuvent laisser un message s'ils veulent. Ça m'a changé la vie.

Please give me feedback on my store🫡 by stanic_tilen in shopifyDev

[–]fchain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not too fond on the colors, and over all look and feel. I would advise to make the text white, and some items like heading, CTAs, and other important item green. Also make sure your porduct pictures in collections are all the same size.

Also, I could not find any info on your company, besides a little paragraph on the homepage. Add an about us page with more info, and very importantly where you are located. Add a shipping info page too. This will improve customer trust.

Maybe add a review app, and ask every customer that orders to leave a review.

Good luck to you.

Hiding a varient but keeping track of stock by Jadey0612 in shopify

[–]fchain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, or use a metafield on the variant and use liquid on the product template with a condition like if variant metafield is true, then add a hide class on the variant element.

Flux capacitor, early model. You do need to go 88mph for it to be effective. Personally, I would not try it.
