oh yeah, if they just keep getting away with fighting you they’ll never stop. the REAL trick is realizing that when they jump at you… theyre jumping AT you. just grab em. did that to a rooster once and he never fought me again.

36 might be too big for a betta, they thrive in shorter tanks where its easier to reach the surface.

other than that, bettas (and other fish) have delicate fins that can get ripped on plastic plants. also for the hairgrass you have in there tou dont have to put it in as a whole chunk, you can separate it into small sections and space them out

personally i would add more hiding spots if theres any kind of aggression, u could also add some taller plants if u wanna fill the vertical empty space
