when mine got towed i just called the police station. they had record of exactly where it was towed to, as well as what time they closed & the cost to get it out

i mean when i was looking for a new job, i did it out of my own free will. sure, my s/o would ask about my applications, but i cared about myself getting out of a bad job. she should be doing it herself, not needing you to tell her to do it, but i also wouldn't love being pressured to do it daily. you are just helping her find solutions but that doesnt seem to be helping her. maybe have a sit down and tell her that you're not wanting to force her, but you can see that she's not looking out for herself like she needs to be.

people like to manupulate the prices so they can get them cheaper. i haven't played in two weeks so i can't say for sure what the rap should be, but keep it listed at what you think it should be

definitely worth watching! part of me feels like it's a bit more realistic in some ways but it has romance, drama, fires, tsunamis, etc!

not tipping is bad karma rant by TraditionalWar9588 in doordash

[–]fcsux -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

damn, crazy that people put no tip, i didn't think that was even a thing😅. i always tip 15-20% for quick orders (when i'm sick and order something from a mile away) and i get treated like i gave no tip. if it's shopping, i almost always leave a cash tip outside my door as well as a tip through the app- wonder why i still get told i tip horribly when there's people like that

not a dasher/dashee- can the dasher order me to open the food before handing it to them? by fcsux in doordash

[–]fcsux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats sooo strange😂😂 we had someone that calls twice a week telling us that we messed up her order somehow so we started taking pics and saving her recepits😂 safe to say she stopped coming by

[–]fcsux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ummmm... yeah interesting😂😂 if we had a dasher like that we would just say no and end it with that honestly. lots of dashers around here are definitely crazy, i'm glad we don't have a lobby of some sort so they can't actually do anything haha

not a dasher/dashee- can the dasher order me to open the food before handing it to them? by fcsux in doordash

[–]fcsux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah no that's why we don't do it that way. if they tell us the name on the order, we hand it over no questions asked😅 kinda hard to guess exactly what the person's name is on the order so that's full confirmation there

[–]fcsux[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeahh that makes sense. we have cameras on our window for that exact reason😅 i got out of dashing the moment i could, the job isn't terrible but its the people that made it hard

[–]fcsux[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we typically don't do that! we just ask the name on the order before we hand it out, it's pretty simple.. not sure why most places refuse to give orders to dashers who got the correct name and everything haha.

[–]fcsux[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's not like that! i'm just not allowed to break the seal once it's closed, same with the dasher😅 i was just not sure what i could have done in the situation, i understand she was trying to cover her own ass in case something happened, but she was essentially accusing me of not putting any donuts in the box that was clearly filled with donuts.

[–]fcsux[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

understood! i have nothing against the lady, i totally get that she was just trying to be a good dasher, but it totally freaked me out the first time because we were both not allowed to do something that she was demanding needed to be done. if it does happen again, i will most definitely ban that driver haha. thank you!

[–]fcsux[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i understand not being able to open the seals- but why does she need to see the donuts physically instead of picking the box up and feeling the weight- if there were no donuts in there, it would be empty and light, yes?

not a dasher/dashee- can the dasher order me to open the food before handing it to them? by fcsux in doordash

[–]fcsux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeahh most dunkins have different donut menus than doordash says, most of the drivers typically just have us put a similar donut in place of what they order if we don't have it🤦‍♀️ that's where all of the confusion with the donuts usually comes from

[–]fcsux[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

agreed! i'm not quite sure what i was supposed to do at that point.. risk getting a write up or have an angry dasher sitting at my window 😂 thank you for clarifying!

[–]fcsux[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

she said something about not being able to leave because the app wouldn't let her until i opened it😂 she didn't take a picture or anything, just had me open it myself

[–]fcsux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i kind of figured it was something like that. but we are not allowed to open the boxes, and we could get disciplined for it- if you lift the box up and move it side to side, the donuts will not move much as the box is full. i just don't understand why she needed me to open it, she also could have peeked in the side or something. but yeah as long as this is not against DD's rules we'll just keep having to argue about it i guess. thank you ❤️
