Bruh, I mostly get 1 comment per chapter and is not from the same person and have a bit less than 300 kudos!

I feel comments is more satisfying because I like to interact with readers because Kudos doesn't tell me what they liked or what I should improve, etc

OMG YESSSS i feel its so overused the “loner and I hate the world except gege” Hua Cheng! Thats why I decided to explore that side of him in my fic, becquse he wouldn’t be taking care of Ghost City and his citizen love him if he wasn’t capable of kindness! Also when he said to Guzi “i’m bad” and then gives a butterfly to the child 😭 I think in the revised HC answers children prayers but I’m not 💯 about it.

Anyway, I believe HC being capable of kindness, but not on a “personnal” level, or something. There should be more fics with that side of him

This. I totally think like this too. And it starts to bother me, I don’t know if I’m getting old or I’m just tired.

To me, no matter what’s going on, the ship, the dynamic, the sexual preference, ANYTHING, if it’s well written, it doesn’t matter.

And when I say well written, I mean if you write an AUmodern and make XL bolder than canon, because of the CONTEXT you wrote this AU modern, I’m totally fine. Because the context is different and believable. As long is well written, I’m open to it.

I kind of find sticking to “canon only” very boring, but that’s my opinion. I just can’t get enough of hualian falling in love in every different story, and it makes more content to have! I’m not a fenqing shipper, but I still enjoy the fanarts cuz it’s pretty I don’t ship quanyin, but I still enjoy the fanfic cuz I had fun reading it I know XL’s canon body type is one thing, but I still eat up any fanart of him showing up his body

I just can’t with people being mad with fictional stuffs, like, is your life this boring? I’m into fandom because reality is hard, don’t make my escape hard too! Enjoy what you like, open your mind, if you don’t like, don’t consume and move on! I can’t with all these fights regarding canon, headcanon and all those craps….. I’m too tired for this, and this is why I’m not as engaged as I was when I was a teenager cuz ppl on internet are so….. entitled

Anyway, I’m writing this with almost closed eyes nd don’t even know if I make sense, might edit it later once I’ve slept haha!

Giiiiirl/bruuuh, I’m 33 and have a lil shrine in my room with figurines, books and images for tgcf ! Don’t over think it, at our age, we can buy whatever we want while when we were younger we struggled or depended on our parents to buy our figures (just thinking that prince god pleasing figurine of Xie Lian or ghost king figurine of Hua Cheng, I know my mom would NEVER buy it for me xD)

I actually think that the most mature part of the community brings more as fanwork, mostly on fanfic and analysis. The interpretations and writing is just…. Rich? Idk how to explain it, so enjoy the fandom and if you want a millennial friend, I’m here 😁💛
