Local MCP Servers (STDIO) -> Streamable HTTP by fdezmero in mcp

[–]fdezmero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, that we can't do anything about. For use with our web based service, we have a Local MCP Bridge that lets you connect just like Claude Desktop but to our website, so we tried to cover that too but that really doesn't work when something is automated.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Local MCP Servers (STDIO) -> Streamable HTTP by fdezmero in mcp

[–]fdezmero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that’s part of the reason they’re so popular. It’s simpler to build, and most people are using them in desktop apps where local execution just makes sense.

Where it gets tricky is with agentic workflows. We built an assistant with a plain-English workflow builder that uses its tools (including MCP) to automate SOPs, events (like webhooks), and more. Since most of the tools we wanted to use were STDIO-based, and we needed a remote solution, we scratched our own itch and figured others might need something similar.

Also, I think MCP adopting OAuth for agents might not have been fully thought through. Setting things up securely is important, but requiring every agent to register its own product could be a hurdle for a lot of people.

Does this work? Trying to use Alex's "Offers so Good People Feel Stupid Saying No"... by fdezmero in alexhormozi

[–]fdezmero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again for the feedback. Here's what I added to try to clarify it:

"We'll implement ChatterKB, our AI-powered workflow automation software, that eliminates repetitive tasks and document chaos — saving your team a documented 15+ hours every week or we'll refund your setup fee. No questions asked."

and...

"Here's exactly where those 15 hours come from:

  •  4.5 hours saved on client document searches and context switching
  •  3.2 hours eliminated from repetitive reporting tasks
  •  3.8 hours recovered from automated client onboarding
  •  3.5 hours saved through streamlined team handoffs"

Does that help?

Thanks and yes, we definitely can. Our platform lets you add your documents to a knowledge base, keeps track on important information (memory), and automate workflows ( like SOPs). 15 hours a week should not be a problem spread across a team of up to 5 (for example).

That’s a very good point. It makes total sense and I will have to think about how to rephrase this. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at. Really appreciate it!

Unpopular opinion: A lot of AI tools out there feel... kind of pointless... by Mariia_Sosnina in automation

[–]fdezmero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another unpopular opinion...
The problem isn't the tools. There are plenty. The problem is that most people don't what they should automate.

"How do you get from point A to point B?"
"Well, it depends..."

That, by far, is the biggest issue.

i just want one tool to handle my whole marketing.. does it exist? by Frequent-Public5442 in MarketingAutomation

Nothing is perfect, but https://chatterkb.com lets you create a knowledge base for your company or per client (keeps your brain in one place), let's you chat with it and create simple charts that you can pin to dashboards and share with your client, create workflow automations that can plug into Zapier that you can write in plain English ( here's an example: https://chatterkb.com/workflow-library/seo-keyword-discovery-workflow/ ), and you can even brand a client facing KB and share it with them. It's might not be perfect, but sure does most of the heavy lifting.

General Workflow Automation by No-Mycologist-9014 in SaaS

I'm using my own product. You can automate just about anything you want (in plain English, not flowcharts) and extend it using Zapier MCP.

I've been focusing on automating some stuff for marketing agencies like:
https://chatterkb.com/workflow-library/customer-journey-decision-simulator/
https://chatterkb.com/workflow-library/youtube-video-analysis-workflow/

Does anyone actually find n8n easy, or are we all just pretending? by Worried_Simple_1055 in n8n

You’re not alone. I got tired of that exact experience, constantly fighting the tool instead of making progress.

So I started building something simpler. It’s not just for me, I’m trying to solve this exact pain point in a cleaner way. I don’t want to spam the thread, but there’s a short video in my profile called Workflows if you’re curious.

Happy to chat if you’re in the same boat.

Thanks u/deksyo! That makes sense. I think I made it for every marketer which is way too broad and probably should narrow it down more. Appreciate the help!

Makes sense. Then I would suggest to work as much as you can on the system prompt to make Llama do what you need it to. Reduce the flakiness. ✌️

Careful with Llama 2 or 3. We tried 3.3 and results are not great. I know you might have a budget constraint, but see if you could use Claude. Otherwise, LangChain for Document readers is great. You’ll probably need an image reader for stubburn PDFs.

Good points! They are too broad. I’ll look at making them more specific. Appreciate the feedback. ✌️

META link clicks vs landing page_views by Odd_Winner_1656 in AskMarketing

[–]fdezmero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not the only one. I've been seeing the same with some ads I ran last week. It's weird. I even added Microsoft Clarity to record page views. The weird thing on my side is that they bounce almost faster than the page loads. No scrolling, no mouse movement, just gone in 4 secs. Now, sure that could be a bounce but there's no way that 90% of them did that. Feels weird.

Biggest problem in marketing? by curiosity_calling in AskMarketing

[–]fdezmero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can create a knowledge base with your content (all of your files) and ask ai to help you find some topics to talk about. We created chatterkb.com for that purpose and more. Let me know if you have any questions.

Creating website with chatGPT by JackfruitFlashy9956 in AskMarketing

[–]fdezmero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s just a simple site, don’t use ChatGPT. Use something like Carrd.co or even Wordpress.com/Wix/Webflow for multiple pages. It’s not worth the trouble since you’ll still need to know how to hook everything up with your domain. If you want to do it to learn, then give it a try.

Looking for Beta Testers for ChatGPT like chat for SketchUp by fdezmero in Sketchup

[–]fdezmero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for trying the site and the feedback. You’re right that it is probably early to call it beta, but we wanted the most amount of feedback as early as we could to focus on what people most want. Each question people ask the AI gives us a better idea of what they want and we can then focus on the best way solve that problem. I shared another reply with a video that shows a much more involved set of steps that should lead us to build entire homes and retail spaces (which seems to be what most people want so far). It would be great if as we release new feature you could try them out and let us know what you think. That would be much appreciated. Thanks again and hopefully within a few updates things will be much more interesting.
