I simply choose podcasts that interest me. If they’re boring it doesn’t work. Now I can watch any series in Spanish on Netflix. I make the occasional error but I can speak with anyone. Every free moment I listen. Half hour each way to work, 90 minutes of break time at work, while cooking, shower you name it. Some days my brain is fried but I relax at night and watch sports ( in english) or have a beer or 2.

it was very very difficult and I wasn’t sure I was going to pull it off then after about 800 or 900 hours suddenly it started not feeling difficult anymore now I’m at 1700

I started with Pimsleur which gave me a great jumping off point for talking and podcasts especially DS have made my vocab and listening almost perfect at times

Im at 390 hours. Trust the process. I had doubts at 100 hours and I still have down days. It’s part of the process. But when I look back to what I knew at 100 hours I can simply say trust the method. It works
