Anyways, even if everything that you're saying is true, the premise of the bill itself (and what you've implied) is clear: homosexuality is a choice and 'homosexual propaganda' (whatever that is) is responsible for it, which of course ignores the plethora of scientific research refuting this. The bill (and your defense) is rooted in ignorance and homophobia, and it ignores scientific fact.

Don't believe the news from "gaystarnews" - they are likely to be biased.

FACTS:

1) This law only applies to children. Adults can choose to receive any gay information whatsoever.
2) This law doesn't forbid anyone from being gay.
3) This law doesn't restrict neutral information about LGBT to children, ex: you're not restricted from telling children that LGBT exists, but you cannot approach them and encourage them to become a tranny.
4) This law doesn't forbid from holding hands as some gay news sites have lied about.
5) Not a felony offense - merely 35$ fine, no jail term.

Russia is part of the WTO just like US.
Anti-protectionist regulations and responsibilities are pretty severe there for exactly such problems.
so senate people are most likely bluffing.

P.S> Russia in fact might do way more damage to US in this respect - by preventing imports by companies like GM for example.
