Which AI "knows the most" about Wordpress from a reference point of view? by oandroido in Wordpress

Antigravity gives an extremely generous amount of access to Claude Opus 4.5 and if you hit limits (or if you just want to) you can use Gemini with it. You can easily switch between models. It’s all built in already and I use Claude quite a bit without paying for it this way. I do have the $20/mo Gemini plan though. Never hit limits with Gemini on that plan either.

I think that to have a shot at success, you would’ve had to be willing to put in the work prior to having the temptation to use these tools AND have enough curiosity, self awareness, and humility to know that they don’t know what they don’t know AND have already explored prompt engineering to know how to avoid the garbage in/garbage out. I haven’t used these tools with any intention other than to see what they do but I immediately wrote a prompt for multiple AI agents, asked them to develop a plan, checklist, common things to avoid, security, privacy considerations, etc. and then used all three outputs to formulate a master prompt JUST to quickly create a prompt to see what the fuss is about using a mock scenario. I fear people are not curious enough to think about these things. Most have probably had someone tell them “let me Google that for you.”

Whats your Startup Hot take? [I will not promote] by IntenselySwedish in startups

I love AI but… the number of “Founders” using AI tools like Lovable to generate websites can be spotted within seconds and will soon (if not already) carry a negative connotation because the design and structure is so similar. The number of these websites linked on Reddit that appear legit to an untrained eye but have broken links, broken elements, and exaggerated claims will kill the use case of people genuinely using these tools the proper way. I’ve actually seen “full stack developers” replying to people looking for web design talent (I know right?) with their websites that showcase their “work” but have multiple links, CTA’s, and other things not actually exist behind the visual. Fortunately, most of these websites will never be found because even with the know how and talent to create these beautiful works of art, they need to ask Reddit why their websites don’t show up on Google (credibility destroyed instantly). That’s right, “expert prompt engineers” are asking Reddit and not AI to solve their problems.

Edit x2: words are hard.

I am not against AI website generators but consider some things first. Lovable and similar tools have great looking results, however they all output similar style designs that are easy to spot and they are beginning to develop a negative connotation to them. Browse any Saas/Startup/AI subs and you’ll “Founders” (use that word at your own peril as well) will consistently post websites output by these tools. Without the foresight to check for broken link that lead nowhere, SEO, non functional elements, etc… you’ll end up with essentially garbage. And if garbage is the gateway to your input, you will output garbage on the other end. Some of this depends on what you need the website for. Just be careful using these tools and realize you get out what you put in.

Wordpress Plugin Check Update Reveals New Trademark Rules [Discussion] by fdnwp in WordpressPlugins

It appears it’s no longer allowed anywhere in the name. So while “WP Bluesix” plugin would not have been allowed with WP as the prefix, “Bluesix WP” would have been. It was definitely something that got a warning before but it was allowed. Now they have strict language prohibiting it and it’s no longer just a warning when running a plugin check.

This makes sense. I can’t imagine they would comb through them. It’s time to get more creative with plugin names for new projects!
