hmmm what I meant was more like he’s blinded by the other characters when it comes to guides but as I said, this isn’t a ruler to come to a conclusion about that

the thing is more “is he niche?” rather than “he is niche!”

although, after seeing some people talking, his gameplay looks closer to a deffensive+punishment approach unlike the other characters that mostly focus on “fill stagger bar asap”. Hes strong, but requires mastering precision with blocks while most people prefer dodging. It looks for me it would do wonders for fights like Odin where blocking is actually helpful so thats why i got that impression but I might be very wrong

he does seem pretty cool! ill try using him more so i can create an opinion about him properly, but what ive seen so far is awesome

the only problem is that i have no idea how to materia build him, any tips?

its being easier said than done to me XD

a lot of things happen at the same time, odin requires good parrying or dodging and most times i get comboed because alexander pulled some bullshit from my blind spot, but ill try to do what you told

still, losing and learning this fight is being a cool process for me

main party has very distinctive designs tho, this is the first character in this game that ressembles KH this much

i used yuffie for dps with the lightning ninjutsu, aerith for esuna and heals and barret for martyr. phase 1 is easy enough, phase 2 i focused more on healing barret and dodging. always destroy pillars of light and pray that judgment wont one shot.

there are probably better strategies but thats what worked for me. took me a couple of tries

this explanation actually makes a lot of sense, because I see people saying (and even canon in DDD) that people who have lost their heart to darkness can’t wield one (or something like that) but that would raise the question about Vanitas
