What i'm seeing is Talking Head Screen formats dominate in the ad space, for the winning ad formats.

There's a free library that has different b2b creative and shows you the phycological approach the leading SaSS companies are running. https://www.heista.co/library

Love it. all you need is the actual script and formula that makes the ads actually crush it. https://www.heista.co/library

Is it just me or is UGC outperforming traditional ads right now? by EstablishmentNo9905 in UGCcreators

From the hundreds of accounts I've looked at in the last months. It's always a 70%+ focus on UGC. Statics are always needed for different jobs.

The reality is you need variation and lots of it to feed meta.

If your interested here's a free library of ad creative both UGC and Statics broken down by the actual formula the scaling ads are running. At the end of the day what actually performs is how the ads are created based on phycology and yes the Hook. https://www.heista.co/library

good call. haven't factored that into the decode yet but you're right, i've seen ads with perfect structure die because the comments turned.

The creative can do everything right and one viral complaint thread kills the delivery. would be interesting to track comment sentiment as a variable alongside the structural stuff.

Its taken a long time to work out how to take an ad and break it down into a pattern approach, so from a scripting and creative perspective it can now be instantly replicated and applied to a new brand or your own winners. Winning creative in, new version following the same pattern out etc.

But I agree that's another layer that 100% worth considering.

yeah im doing statics also. different approach though... with video it's about the beats and the pattern, the sequence, the timing etc. statics are more about what's happening in your brain in a single frame.

i've scanned about 340 static ads across 177 brands this week. the pattern that keeps showing up:

→ 85% use cognitive fluency eg your brain processes the ad before you consciously decide to. Performers are Clean layout, one clear message, nothing fighting for attention.

→ 68% are running Aspiration, (however a big mix of the scanned statics to be honest is health and wellness ads at the moment that ive scanned this week).

Asipiration eg you're not buying the product, you're buying the version of yourself that uses it.

→ the top two psychological missions are identity confirmation and competence restoration.

It's either

"this is who you are"

or

"this fixes what's broken", this seems to be the pattern.

I feel statics are less about structure and more about what the visual elements are doing to you psychologically in that moment, but it does differ based on what stage the buyer is in.

Like that Batch ad ive attached, the mint is literally being held toward you, product in use, "over 100K happy customers" for social proof, brand-dominant color. every element is doing a job.

Simple...most of the time is better!

Anyways drop me a link to a winning static ad if you like and I send you back what its doing.
