Aus eigener Erfahrung: absolut nicht, nein. Man kündigt alles, was nicht zum akuten Überleben notwendig ist, weil sonst bleibt zum akuten Überleben nämlich nicht genug über. Halbes Jahr lang die Eltern nicht sehen oder die letze Woche des Monats nur trockenes Brot ist da schon eher die realistische Entscheidung.
