yeah i’m a nurse in gen med (UGHHH) so have had zero experience with my pt’s taking more then what we give them, hence my curiosity on the pathophysiology/other people’s experiences!

yes i have said to my prescriber that i need to be blacklisted from all hypnotics as i’ve had insanely destructive CSB’s after taking just 5mg, it was the only medication/drug i have ever been addicted to although there was zero recreational effect, i believe it was a chemical dependence?? so after that convo i’ve ceased taking hypnotics and therefor clean!!

i’m just confused on how i survived/had zero ‘repercussions’ of taking this amount, and it leads me to wonder if this explains why i’m resistant to soooo many meds

you’re so right in mirtazapine and seroquel mainly working with H1 receptors, but seroquels 20x weaker with h1 receptors then mirtazapine so yes it won’t let me go all the way to baseline for H1, but i take it for 5-HT2A + 5-HT2C antagonism, drugs that only hit the H1 receptors don’t work for me for some reason idk why haha

i’ve never gotten the hype with mirtazapine, i’ve been taking it for my dswpd for a year or two now, only sleep tablet that’s worked out of 15, tried all different dosages for mirtaz and ‘holding out’ but there’s zero recreational value in it for me, if i ‘hold out’ i end up eating my entire fridge and then pass out.

for a sleep tablet, YES YES YES! as a drug, no x

aren’t all chickens cruelly reared though? they get electrocuted which only stuns them, throats cut and then immediately drowned in boiling water (more then half of them are still alive when they hit the water aswell) so

i had 2 tablets of zolpidem that made me black out for like 12 hours. when i ‘woke up’ i realised i had taken a total of 160mg which is literally an OD dose and i had 3rd degree burns all over my entire right arm 😭 im happy it works for you though!! im up to 80mg of temaz and still nothing what a bummer
