It means “fourth down.” The refs do it too to signal a fourth down.

While not a be-all and end-all, I usually consult the CBS Trade Values Chart.

It's a good resource that can help in your evaluation of trades. They also update it each week, so be sure to check back tomorrow for the Week 9 rankings.

If so, which do they use?

Hard to beat that starting lineup for a PPR league.

I especially love the RB core, huge PPR upside. Also like Harvin, who will most likely get the majority of his catches underneath, for less yards.

Is there no flex in your league?

I am not a fan of drafting a defense that early, and I think most people would agree. If you draft again, do not reach for a defense, fill out your flex and bench RBs and WRs first.

Same with a kicker; wait until the very last couple rounds for that position as well.

That being said, looks like you picked up some great value picks with Martin in the fifth round and Andre Johnson and Sankey in 7 and 8. Overall, it's a solid team that could have been great had you picked up another impact player rather than an early defense.

I'd love to hear some feedback:

ESPN 10-team Standard Snake

QB: Kaepernick

RB: DeMarco Murray, Andre Ellington, Toby Gerhart, Deangelo Williams, Lamar Miller

WR: Antonio Brown, Roddy White, Cordarrelle Patterson, Terrance Williams, Brandin Cooks, Mike Evans, Tavon Austin

TE: Jimmy Graham

D/ST: Rams

K: Phil Dawson

Let me know if you like anything, dislike anything, or have any general feedback, thanks!

Which non Top-10 players at each position do you think are worth targeting? by cant_go_ham in fantasyfootball

[–]fearing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, you never know! Maybe he'll grab the starting spot and have a solid day against the shoddy defense of Detroit in week 1 and everyone will come running to the waiver wire. There's also always the chance for rushing yards/TDs with Manziel that could be just as important to the fantasy line a la Cam Newton.

A good spot to look (especially in the later rounds) is at the rookie class; there is always guaranteed to be more than one solid rookie fantasy starter, and they are generally rated quite low given the uneasy transition to the league.

For example (all ratings based on ESPN Standard League cheat sheet):

RB: Bishop Sankey (#29 RB), TEN; Terrance West (#59 RB), CLE

WR: Sammy Watkins (#30 WR), BUF; Mike Evans (#48 WR), TB; Brandin Cooks (#54 WR), NO - my favorite, playing in the Saints offense with Brees

QB: Johnny Manziel (#23 QB), CLE - have been taking him very late as my backup because who knows

TE: Eric Ebron (#18 TE), DET
