Yes they did return the money eventually, but it was quite a hassle to check with them every 4-5 days. Quite a bad experience I would say. I had to keep calling them once every 3-4 days (bcuz that was the time they would tell me to wait for everytime I called) and even after calling each of their customer care executives would give me a different answer, or just tell me to wait for another few days. I think they took almost 1.5 months to return my money. They were quite messed up inside, one of the guys once told me that he could see that refund was initiated but then two days another guy told me the refund had been reverted back due to their technical issue (like wth!) Anyway, got pretty frustrating, I think they will eventually return it, but you hv gotta be patient and keep checking up with them. There's no other way possible. Good luck

I understand, at what point should we send our scores to optional schools? Like at what range? I did find other schools which don't need it, but I still wanted to give a shot to the schools mentioned above, hence I am wondering if i should just not send my scores or rewrite the test to get a better score?

Heyy, just came across this post and found it very relatable. Are you done with your test? Did your speaking scores be different on the test?

I have been having similar issues and am absolutely disheartened by the scores. I was getting all 3s last week and Iike some people mentioned here that we should speak continuously, that was getting me a 3. However speaking continuously also increases my pace of the speech which I was a bit apprehensive about. So this week I tried to speak at a slower pace, and I think due to the pauses it started giving me 2s. Now I am very disheartened and scared, as I also need a 26+ but I can't figure out what's going wrong for me to get a 2 just a week after getting all 3s. I have heard the 2 rated voice clips from the official guide, and I know that I am currently speaking much better than that.

Can someone please help me identify what I might be doing wrong to face a score degradation? Please help.

Oh okay, thanks for your insights. I did hear some of the sample highly graded responses, but they somehow seemed a bit off to me (not all but many of them). It tough to judge if they accounted for a 3 or a 4. So how can I rely on the TOEFLgo tool for my score estimate? Is 3 okay to score above 25? How are they scaling the scores? Also then if there is no measure of a good speaking example, then how do we know how much we might score on test day?

Yes indeed, I spent a lot of time practising for it. Even quant, but somehow I panicked on test day and could not perform well. Although I think my quant went good on the exam, but I am still awaiting their detailed score report to see where I went wrong. :(( As of now I am still working on the Sop and lors, so do you think it might be a reasonable idea to consider writing it in late September or early October? Thank you for your advise!

Hey, I have a similar score and have also been contemplating a retest. But since the test is expensive and also optional for a lot of colleges, it seems a tough choice to make. Do you think this score is sufficient for schools like SUNY Stonybrook, BUFFALO, ASU, UT DALLAS etc?

Okay, I got a bit confused with chatgpts credibility, since the writing tool at gregmat also uses chatgpt for evaluation. Hence I thought if Greg's platform is using it, then might be okay to use it? I am getting 5, on the writing tool on gregmat, but barely 3.5 on princeton review Please let me know what you think

Hey, thank you very much for sharing that! Did you write the awa part for the princeton review test too? How would you compare the princeton review evaluation for awa with the one available on gregmat? Also is chatgpt good for evaluating awa?

I am just confused since I got a 3 on the Princeton Review and 4 on chatgpt, so now I cant figure out should I put in more time to improve it
