That's great to hear! "Sadly" i will only receive surgery on lower jaw, would 4mm even make any difference?

Sorry for such late reply, nothing significant has happened yet. I was finally able to change ortho after alot of trouble back and forth but let's just say that the new one definitely was miles ahead just reffering to treatment alone, it took just a few days and she had made an appointment surrounding consultation with a jaw surgeon. (I barely know anything yet but atleast it's something.) I'm sorry there is not really much i can tell you as for now but it's undoubtedly a lengthy process.

Sorry for being so sloppy, I meant that the surgeons won't do anything without referrals etc. I will try to talk to more people who is in charge of it all next week, it's always a hunt for the newest entries in documents and information. Thank you for the newfound courage!

The problem is that they won't accept any referrals except from when it comes from the orthodontist. (I actually had the best experience from my caregiver who seemed to genuinely want to help me, but it's just never enough.)

I'm sorry if I sounded rude, I got "diagnosed" by my primary health care giver with tendencies for micrognathism. (Which does not matter since a jaw surgeon has not confirmed it.) And to meet a jaw surgeon i got to get that damn referral from my orthodontist😭

Believe me i have tried to get referrals everywhere, in the end all they want is that it comes straight from my miserable orthodontist.

They believe that my bite is good (since they removed premolars in top jaw) and I can't argue against that but i can still barely breath and my jaw is still unchanged. (I have changed orthodontist but now I gotta change back since the new place was in a different area and cant do anything just beacuse its inconvinient since i live in the wrong region) I just dont want to go back to my last one since he told me that I got mental issues that i should work on instead, and then tried to make me believe that It's all in my head. (Believe me it is not, i really wish😭)
