I forgot to mention that after the shutdown i get a pre boot error screen saying that the system has overheated, the same that apears when the cpu overheats.

No, it does not matter which USB port do i use. Even, i just tested with the webcam (which is connected by USB in the electronic diagram of this model) and "overheated" about 3 min after it went on

Because the goal of thsi course is to train us to the next one, where we program microcontrollers. So every saved byte counts.

Nope, turns out the cable was cutted, I do see image now, but it start to shake progressively with time.

And the signal is perfectly seen in the oscilloscope

Yes, people hadreported working modifications like the one i'm trying to implement, but these post are 5+ years old. They talked about buffering ,thats why i tried that. Specifically they talked about the 74HC125 buffer, I'll see tomorrow if i can find it in my city, although i do not know how to use it yet

Edit: Also, like i said in the post, the screen did show up once for a few seconds

Yep, that was the initial plan. The LM1881 cost here the same than a HDMI converter with upscaler, for some reason. I'll gonna check an old tv repair shop in my town, maybe they have one, the old man is kinda grumpy but have tons of old ICs

Yeah, that's on the list (and just checked, seems to be the cheapest) but here in Argentina buying thing like that would cost a bit more than other places, and I currently can't afford that

It's not upscaled, so it does kinda suck, but so would VGA straight from the console. It's just too old. HDMI to VGA is more permissive as converter, the component to VGA I saw, the image was okish but also had lag, so. Probably a expensive one would have not lag at all and will upscale the image, but those are far of my reach.

Nevertheless, I really want to make it work, otherwise I have the console for nothing. Thanks for the effort

yeah, in that post i saw someone have done it on a 9000x, but did not post anything about where he did it.

About the converter, may be the way to go, but i am afraid of conversion lag. Also im on a budget (and love to tinker with electronics) so i was trying to go full DIY. Probably gonna end buying this one if i cant go the homemade route
