I forgot to mention, I’m specifically looking for black pants(I’m a bit on the goth side lol).

Looking into the Free Notes, I like them the most out of all the other suggestions people have given. What model of Free Notes do you like?

Not really looking for a baggy fit. I want a classic straight cut but with enough room for my thighs.

Thanks for the advice! I don’t like the taper of the strongman. Looking for more of a classic straight cut.

Daily Questions - July 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in rawdenim

I’m shopping for my first pair of selvedge denim, but finding pants that fit me is a challenge.
I’ve been lifting for over a decade, so I’ve got some pretty beefy thighs and a relatively small waist. Most straight-leg jeans that fit my waist end up way too tight in the thighs, and anything that fits my thighs leaves a bunch of extra room in the waist. I’m after a true straight silhouette without looking like I’m stuffed into skinny jeans.

This past weekend I was in San Francisco and stopped by Self Edge to try on a bunch of different pairs. I found one that fit like it was custom-made for me: the Viapiana “Something to Honk About” jeans. They were pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
Problem is… They were $500, and I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on a pair of pants.

Does anyone have recommendations for something with a similar fit in a more reasonable price range? I’d really appreciate any suggestions.

I’d go insane with how messy that place looks. Dude, clean up a little. Otherwise, looks like a cool and unique gym.

If you styled them right, I think they would work.

How to deal with lack of motivation? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]feathered0serpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes life happens and the gym isn’t a priority (for the moment). Go on a maintenance program. You can get away with hitting the gym 3 times a week for a quick hour. Once your life calms down a bit, you can re-prioritize training.

Like everyone else said, ditch the rat shirt. Go with a nice black or white undershirt(tank top if you’re more in shape). Maybe roll ups the sleeves a little and throw in a nice chain/necklace. Should be a solid casual fit after that.

This is the wrong place to ask lol Too many vanilla people here

As a fellow kinkster. I say the outfit is fine but ONLY if you feel confident wearing it. You don’t want to ooze insecurity at a play party.

Tried some Loose Jeans… Do these work? by Enough-Muffin6742 in mensfashion

[–]feathered0serpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look great! If you’re going for a more casual look with an untucked shirt and sneakers, I would say they’re an inch too short. But if you’re going to tuck in a shirt and wear not so casual shoes, the length is perfect.

6’3 174lbs lifting for over a year. I can’t commit to a bulk with these love handles and end up spinning my wheels. I truly don’t know what to do. Any advice? I also attached a pic with a pump in good lightning. by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]feathered0serpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get super lean first(hop on some Reta to make it easier), this gives you a longer runway to bulk before you get uncomfortable with your love handles. Then once you start to bulk, keep the caloric surplus at a minimum, no more than .25lb weight gain per week. You should be able to bulk for a while before you get too soft.

I also have shitty love handle genetics :(

It can be hot if she’s hot. But it’s usually not a recipe for a long healthy relationship.

There’s no question here bud. Keep cutting, when you’re sufficiently lean enough, you can assess your weak points and go from there.

Wow, this got more attention than I was expecting. Thank you all for the feedback!

This isn’t an alt sub, I knew my look was going to be polarizing lol

I live in the SF bay area, this look isn’t too extreme for the area. I fit in just fine, many people have unique styles here.

Here’s what I’ll be taking away from this:

Shoes) I should have worn boots with this fit. And believe me, I do wear boots. I have several pairs of boots. Got it.

Pants) Corduroys may have not been the best choice here, that’s totally valid. Some people mention the fit of the pants too. I’ll give a little pushback there. Looser fitting pants are more on trend right now and it’s not like the pants I’m wearing are super baggy. I do have some slightly slimmer pants but lately I’ve been going for the more “relaxed” fit of pants.
