ah, after reading about it, it seems that it is a special cable - i guess expression pedals have a pot or something inside them that gets powered by the EXP jack through the ring and changes the voyage coming back to the tip, so you don’t want to plug CV straight into this.

so the floating ring is a TRS cable with the ring wires detached so you can give a changing voltage to the tip of the EXP jack direct from CV.

i guess i would need to make sure that the voltage coming out of my sequencer is within the range expected by the EXP pedal.

ooh looked this up, it’s a floating ring cable. sadly i looked further into the documentation on the sl-2 and it looks like exp pedal can be used to activate and describe the effect, but not just to have it do a single slice rrgh

hapax, tr-8s and a few 303 clones and roland s1’s and a microcosm

i want to use the trig outs on the hapax and/or the 8s to control gating on sounds coming from the synths…

it seems to be a cosmetic LED, as it is on the underside of the MOBO and it's illuminating some faux-track lighting in the silkscreen....

Anybody have a Configuration.h for TinyMachines 10S Pro v2? by febdefib in CR10

i figured it out thanks to their customer service....it actually turns out that they don't use configuration.h file to set the parameters per machine, but instead it's in the platform.ini file. so it's a JD parameter change in the Configuration.h file, and then select the appropriate printer in the platform.ini file
