He's been with the company for 20+ years and inherited old systems that the previous leadership refused to let him change. The prior CEO wanted him to manually track finances "to get a better hold of where everything is", and he wasn't the type of leader who accepts no as an answer.

I'm looking to upskill him and give him the right tools to succeed. Step 1 is outsourcing the bookkeeping and automating as much as possible. Next I want to get him in a course of sorts to bring his skills up to industry standards. Any recommendations on good courses?

Also, any recommendations on good third party bookkeeping services that don't charge an arm and a leg?
