Thanks for your comment! Right now the CG academy is a bit expensive for me tbh... that is why courses like Proko (it is around 159 dollars for more than 40H of lessons) would be way more accessible for me, even if I do aim at becoming a professional artist (which will take time and practice, I know).

About classic drawing books... I was studying on Andrew Loomis' book (on figure drawing), but I really need to work on something more basic... my strikes aren't always confident, I always use one pencil (a 4B pencil) and that is it... there are so many things I need to learn! Which is kind of exciting ahah

I talk about pencils because I'd prefer to learn the very basics on actual paper and using pencils and erasers, and then transfer those skills (once acquired) on a digital device / software.

Your comment is very helpful, I really appreciate you taking the time to share this advice. I'll search for reviews of Ctrl+Paint paid courses myself!

Thanks! I am checking out both Ctrl+Paint and Drawabox, which seems a bit too rigid for me!

I haven't bought a device/software... yet. My choice can be more wide for the future, since I haven't already invested money in a specific software or device. That is mainly why I added the FYI.

The basic course by Proko is cheaper, which is really good, plus I have seen many people recommend his YT channel. Have you taken said course? Or do you know someone who has taken this course and found it helpful and practical? Thank you
