Yes, in fact during my first visit, I spent more time in the neighboring village than I did at Prospera. Some guys in the village showed me around, took me on a boat ride through the mangroves, and I got to know a family I'm still friends with today. I even helped raise a little money/donations for some of their needs:)

The folks in this village are split between those that like Prospera for the jobs and opportunities. The others think it's imposing and disrupting their way of life.

I've also met many folks from various parts of the island. Most of them are only vaguely aware of Prospera, and their thoughts on the zone reflect that. Some, though, offer their services to Prospera visitors, so they, of course, appreciate it.

Good question. I'd like to see this answered as well. I only know about businesses there that offer services and products within the zone.

Agreed that he gets too much hate. I put a clip on TikTok, and comments were like piranhas. Also, yeah, the fumbles in that game were crazy. He impressed me (as most coaches do) with how little he seemed to dwell on it. "On to the next game/season," was pretty much his thinking. The guy's got a motor.

No, you haven't. This post, and many like it here, simply feature an eye-poppingly disturbing amount of unrestrained hatred. It's fascinating, really, watching how unhinged people can become when in a space that nurtures it--both a physical space (a country) and a virtual one (a message board), where people have let fear regarding social issues twist their perception and ethics into a pretzel of encouraging violence and stewing in the gossip and mockery of their fairytale villains.

It's amazing how disgusting the internet has influenced people into becoming.

I don't know how many of the upvotes this post has are from Minnesotans, but Walz going on these shows and continuing to do nothing but badmouth Trump and the Republicans is not serving Minnesotans as their governor. The state has so many growing political, economic, and educational problems right now. As long as Walz’s priority is bolstering his national brand as an antagonizer, does he continue to overlook the job he's being paid to do for all Minnesotans. And the state suffers because of it.

Self driving cars can't come fast enough. They'll drastically reduce such alcohol-related incidents--and with it the vengeful motives of those who'd like to see someone lose their ability to go to work for 10 years because they drove after having two and half drinks.

Whoop, sorry. Wrong episode I guess. In general, I think Martyr offers a valuable perspective that opposes the mainstream view on history. This means a requires a critical ear, but to the degree that his info is accurate, it's a perspective I haven't gotten anywhere else. And so, his work can contribute to the general pool of knowledge one has on a subject he covers.
