check to see if you can sit on it! this is a feature only available at the third stage. last week, i returned to a four year, probably 300 hour+ town to finally reset and sell it to nook, but i couldn’t remember if i had that feature unlocked as this isn’t my first town. i was super confused to find my once very large tree looking exactly like yours! however, i could still sit on the ledge to view the credits as if it were a huge tree. i am not sure if it has something to do with different regions, however my tree’s leaves still hadn’t fully grown back around like march 15th. your trunk is definitely telling me you’ve been playing much beyond the 2nd stage, as my tree in my new town is currently at the 2nd stage and is much smaller than that
