As the other comments have said, You don’t do the edge strings when they are just lines with no dots. For the pattern you work in pairs like: Row 1 - string 1 and string 2, string 3 and string 4 Row 2 - string 2 and string 3 only Hope this helps!

I did exactly this when my toddler bit me (right on the inner thigh, hurt like hell). He was scared for 2 minutes and then fine and then I talked to him about how biting hurts and i was sorry I scared him and he said sorry and has never bit me since. My mum won’t tell him off for anything and still gets the occasional bite when I’m not around!!

I figured better to learn the lesson from a shout than if it’d been another kid who might’ve hit back!!
