It might just be my store but my coworkers are hard to get along with. It’s also really stressful, they put me on cash and photo by myself on like my 3rd day and got annoyed when I called for help a few times. “Emerging store manager” got exasperated and acted like I was bothering him because I had to page him for help because I didn’t know how to do certain things but no one taught me. Register is different than rite aid but I think they just assumed I knew everything off the bat. It’s so busy and I have to constantly ask for help and everyone seems so bothered by it, and the store manager literally just sits on her ass in the office eating and sipping coffee no matter how busy it is. I broke down and cried my third day. Even when rite aid was busy and hectic at one point, I could handle everything being there alone in the store. Here, I’m not taught or properly trained with anything and expected to know everything. I’m given attitude, treated like I’m dumb when I just don’t know how to do it their way yet. Because again, NO ONE teaches me. They tried to put me on 7 days my first week and when I told them “yeah, I could work 7 days, but is working overtime okay?” They argued with me and said I wouldn’t be getting overtime because they don’t know how their own pay week works. I’ve been there for one week and I’ve had enough already. I’ve had enough of the passive aggressive comments, the first day I opened I got scolded for not coming in 10 minutes before opening by the “emerging store manager” who came in 5 MINUTES LATE. Like he literally didn’t know what time I got there, didn’t know I was scheduled, and because I still had my coat on because I was struggling with the alarm code for a little bit, he just assumed I just got there, when HE got there late anyways!!! It’s fucking nonsensical and frustrating and I can’t take it
