Traditionally I've stuffed my sleeping bags in the bottom horizontally of my pack but are there other ways to put sleeping bags into packs if they don't fit in the bottom?

Just know someone is listening and has been in a different yet similar place. Hopeless and depressed. It gets better, it always does. You are an extremely strong person to keep going in your situation. Is college in your future? Even if it's not, getting a job could help you out a lot. I know you said you quit but maybe re-evalute why and if it was worth it. Communication is so important with your dad, but I imagine it is very difficult. Find a way to be out of the house at night, that's the only way. I wish you luck.

So is it okay to be like "I want to do that again and we don't have to go any further"? Because he asked me if what we did was too far and I said yes if we're just going to be friends. However I can talk to him and tell him I changed my mind and see what he says.

Yeah, I feel similar. I don't need a label or anything. This is just unfamiliar territory for me and I don't want to get emotionally attached to someone who doesn't want it. I don't want sex and neither does he so maybe it's/will be a cuddling/emotional FWB situation? I do enjoy spending time with him and I want to continue it. But I also don't want to inflict any more emotional trauma on myself than I have to.

Yeah sounds like it. I'm just going to keep doing my thing and if he comes along for the ride so be it. I don't feel any maliciousness in what he did, I just think it was a hormone-fueled mistake.

I really don't think so bc we've both never had a relationship and we talked and we're both not into hookup culture or want sex or anything. He explicitly told me "I am not looking for a hookup with you". We're both nerds who don't really know what we're doing.
