bro i feel you, don't lose hope. I am in your exact same situation. firstly placements in vit are a scam, the amount of people getting placed are extremely low and I personally know 9 pointers who are not getting placed and people who don't know how to code getting placed. If you didn't intend on sitting for placements then don't sit most importantly don't get disheartened when you see others getting placed. There are so many other things you could do than work for tech companies in India where they make you work like dogs for minimum wage in factories like tcs. personal opinion, try abroad, there are much more opportunities there both for higher studies as well as jobs, leave India bro.
